The McLean Stevenson Curse continued on with this very short-lived sitcom. Too damn bad as from what I watched of it, it had some potential. Found it interesting that they used a different type of color and font for the opening credits while the rest of the credits are the same style of any Witt-Thomas Production.
I remember watching facts of life 6.30pm every night after dinner as a 14-15 yr old great show back than Now I’m a nan of 9 grandchildren aka moko’s they wouldn’t even know what comedy shows are in this generation ❤
Not so fun fact: Charlotte Rae said all her girls turned out "straight" and *some* people whispered nasty comments and got offended. They actually thought the sweet little theater lady who's character was super excepting back in the 80s was making a comment about their sexuality. It's almost like some people seek confrontation and agument when none exist.
sister sister actress on a facts of life production series that made who's the boss? married with children, the jeffersons, square pegs, the charmings, silver spoons, etc.
I continue to be amazed by Nancy and Lisa's chemistry. Since they were youngsters, they have had a closeness that is difficult to explain. I attribute a lot of the success of the series to the Jo/Blair duo. Many look for this type of electricity on the screen their entire lives. How lucky we are to have seen them for years. Facts of Life is one of the best series for me, the script was incredible in the first seasons. The comedy time of the girls and Mrs. Garrett is no longer seen today. I grew up in Peru in the 90's, but luckily, I found this show on cable. What a blessing.
Blair and Jo together were like Andy and Barney from The Andy Griffith Show. They became one of tv's greatest comedy duos! I had a huge crush on both growing up too along with Kim Fields.
