People who call others Nazi’s clearly have no idea what a Nazi is. Disagreeing with your opinion whatever it is doesn’t make me the same as a mass murderer.
Thanks for the vid! I’m a recent convert to whisky and it was, like you, Laphroaig 10 that did it. I’ve picked up an Ardbeg Uigeadail (instead of the 10) and Lag 16 - and think your approach of getting one of each is one I reckon I will follow! Thanks again.
Ardbeg Uigeadail is the latest in my collection as well was my Birthday gift from the wife this last October. I have just the last of it left to do another comparison in the future. What I would say about it now is for smoke it lacks but makes up in smoothness.
I am no scotch aficionado by any means. But there is definitely a distinction between once you had had "The Smoke" a Kirkland just doesn't compare. Spend the extra if you can
Hey that's not hydrophobic bro. You can search up for videos of hydrophobic stuff and water doesn't even stain or colour the hydrophobic surface but yours when you splashed water its colour got dark and bet ya it required time to dry but hydrophobic stuff never gets wet so technically it doesn't need time to dry.
A thoughtful foray through Islay’s whiskies. I have been through Speyside’s whisky trail, ventured up to the Orkney Islands and over to Skye. My husband let’s me plan our trips so we did a great pass through. This year I am celebrating my 65th birthday with a trip to Islay to visit the distilleries. I have done some adVance prep by buying two types of Ardberg, the Lagaveulin 16 yr. and most recently the Kilchoman...I used to be a Speyside gal for the past 30 years or so but once I tried the peaties there is no going back.! Your video has provided me with insight as I continue to do some advance prep. I will drink a toast to you come April 25th, 2020 from Islay. Thank you.
The best Islay I've had though would be the Octomore 06.2 the smoothest scotch I've tasted....but it's a bit too expensive to have often. Lapgroaig Quarter cask, and 10 year cask strength are my favorites for the money.
Nice work! I'm looking to do a similar project, but lack the shop and power saw at this time. So instead of bevelling the edge, I'm thinking of adding a strip of wood trim along it to create a lip so I don't roll the chair off it and onto the carpet. I have a couple of hand saws for cutting small pieces.
I have to make another set now for our new place until we can replace the carpet. Square edge or bevel the biggest issue I had was the thickness and stubbed toes.
We generally enjoyed all the movies. Have to let something go obviously that were just for the purpose of storytelling. Suspended disbelief is the ONLY way to watch a new SW Movie

So far there has only been one comment to date and it contained what any decent person would describe as hate speech. It has been removed for that reason. Anyone wishing to comment in the future should keep this in mind. Creative criticism is appreciated. But racism will not be tolerated.
Quick story. A mechanic at GM once told me in a surprise tone "Wow you speak really good English". I said "yes because I was born here". He says "ok but you speak well". It dawned on me he thought that all Asians had a speech impediment. He was sort of a hill billy. So I said "your English is good too". He reacted with a confused look. He had no idea I was mocking him.... which I found hugely entertaining.
Quick comment as an American born Asian male. It was a rare to see hate for me all my life. But growing up in the Midwest at the time with very few Asians in my school I always felt different and actually did not want to associate with other Asians as I wanted to blend it which I did. I liked moving to California in part because people here are more at ease with Asians. It's subtle but every Asian I know agrees. Back in the Midwest most whites are cordial but they don't seem to want to know me like in California.. One Asian friend described it as being treated like a guest vs a friend. . I went back to Michigan this October and experienced the same thing from old coworkers. Cordial but less interested. Overall I don't think racism against Asians is bad and I don't see it as an issue. We are underrepresented in entertainment but that does not bother me. My observations is some races seem to want to blame whites for their downfall. Even though there is some truth to that...that mindset holds them back. I am totally convinced of that. Most Asians faced discrimination in the 50-60's. They were not hired much into professional jobs like Engineering. My uncle explained that's why a lot of them worked for the govt because they were good with hiring minorities. Over time companies saw the value of Asian professionals which overcame their biases. So now Asians are very well represented in technical areas. Many Asians also choose not to focus blame on others. They focus internally. Work on what they need to succeed (work hard and get education) and forget about external factors. Largely that formula works. My recommendation for minorities is continue to fight discrimination in a smart and effective way. Be a good example. Violence and hate is counterproductive and creates a negative stereotype.
Hey Ryan if you need a place to stay you can come hang with me. There's plenty of room in my tarp shelter for both of us. Speaking of greasy, remember that time when we were both in the office and tried walking out the door at the same time but we got stuck, gut to gut, and couldn't get loose? You squirmed and we made awkward eye contact until finally we both started giggling. Then I wiped some of the grease off my face and spread it on our bellies until we popped out! Haha what a day! Great video BTW I've ready watched it 6 times.
I am the pinnacle of fitness, which I imagine is why my boys always respected me so much. I once completed an Iron Man and Spartan race on the same day.
This Thanksgiving I was thankful for the memories I have of you, and your everlasting loyalty. I was also thankful for the tarp I found which helped me stay mostly dry over the holidays.
