I was already pretty over the BS contract drama, and now I'm 100% done. THIS is what we get out of this Bengals team after waiting so long for them to be back with Joe at the helm? All talk and this is what you give us? Looked like a bunch of 10 year olds out there. I excused the previous seasons' slow starts because there were certain understandable circumstances, but this season is different. These guys seem way too cocky and something seems lost or "off" with morale. Seems like they took a couple of surprisingly good seasons for granted and got way too full of themselves. Jamarr...I love ya, but grow up and humble yourself. Go fucking practice and stop this prima donna bs about your contract. Bunch of overpaid, egotistical babies. This team that I have loved for so long is really rubbing me the wrong way.
Cincinnati has a severe culture problem- Mike Brown. He is not here to win only make money,,,,,,Katie Blackburn please take over. Zack you need to change your training camp after 5 years it is not working
I understand the frustration. I will wholeheartedly admit I was sitting in my BENGALS chair with my BENGALS HAT with my BENGALS jersey on in front of the TV… it sucked. I haven’t wanted to snap my own neck so bad since the early days of Call of Duty.. 😂 it was atrocious. HOWEVER, for the people here that aren’t “bandwagoners”.. They took the L. You know who else took an L? The Ravens. The strongest competition we have to worry about winning the division.. I know the negative replies are going to roll in on this comment. If you’re a true Bengals fan, we have to move forward. We have every right to grieve, but nothing we say is going to change anything. We have to have faith. If you don’t believe in something, you’ll stand for nothing. WHO DEY?! Here’s to hoping they come together and can put the drama behind them for one of the toughest teams in the league next week. Crazier things have happened, and I’ll be back in that chair with that hat and jersey on hoping for the best next week. I hope everyone watching this will be as well.
Guys...don't get carried away. If it wasn't for a brain dead fumble the Bengals would have probably won. This is the Patriots...we lose games like this. I gave myself a Gatorade bath after this win
Patriots fan Here. Sorry to ruin your opening day. Very proud of my guys who have worked very hard this summer and we haven't had a great win like that in years. Great game and good luck the rest of the season. Keep your heads up and don't quit on your guys because of one loss. Hang in there. GO PATS
Well guy's I'm disappointed very disguised with this performance i truly thought with the new additions + rookies Cin's would improve I'm only hopeful because it's just the first game but the trenches needs improving on both sides period
The Zac Taylor Bengals are the worst good team I’ve ever seen. There’s always at least 1 game every year where we are completely stifled for seemingly no reason.
And once again they always lose their first game. I’m not pressed about that. Don’t get it rolling as long as he does not get hurt and if he gets hurt again, we need to flee somebody and get four first round picks for him.😂
The Problem with the Bengals is the same Problem the team has always had, the Brown family are the Owners!!!!,and the Head Coach consistently does not have his team ready to Play at the start of the season, he now has 1 win and 10 losses in the 1st two games to start the season since his tenure began!!!,and that will undoubtedly be 1 win and 11 losses after they go to Kansas City this coming week!!!,He would not be a Head Coach anywhere else in the NFL!!!, The Bengals have made no serious attempts at improving the run Defense or Pass Rush, and the Offensive Line is going to get Burrow killed!!!,or at least shorten his career, or have him begging to get out of Cincinnati just like Carson Palmer did!!!,I've been Watching this team for 55 years, the one thing that's a constant is the fact that they have never had a Top 3 defense, and Defense's win Championships, even on teams with Average Quarterbacks and Average Offenses!!!,there is never any major emphasis put upon improving the Line on both sides of the Ball!!!,and as long as Mike Brown and his Family own this team nothing will ever change!!!The Brown Family do not have any other forms of Revenue other than the Bengals Franchise, unlike Most other Clubs in the League!!!,The Browns are all about making money with this team, and Screwing the Fans and the City!!!,they could care less about ever Winning a Super Bowl!!!
The Bengals’ offense isn’t precise enough, and it’s clear their approach isn’t working. Instead of focusing on getting the ball to their superstar players and designing plays to capitalize on their strengths, they seem to be taking a different route. They’re prioritizing throwing to the tight end first, then attempting the run, and only if those don’t work, they’re turning to the wide receivers. The real question is: has this ever worked? The key point is that they continue to avoid leveraging their top players' talents."🤣🏧💰
The game was a joke, I was at the game 126 row 13 set 6 and I wanted to leave early because it was a championship team vibe. They seem like they aren't hungry enough to care to start off like a championship mind set. They played like children that never played championship football
It's up 2 coaching too have the players ready an this is the worse coaching job ZAC every had next I've said & said ZAC won't change up his scheme if the players on off can't get open or separation then it's check down city ZAC doesn't help players get open bye scheming so now what just like the SB run bengals off script plays is how they scored
Well the run defense starts in the TRENCHES and pat's manhandled Cin's on both sides of the TRENCHES and when the first line of def FAILS the next couldn't tackle for shit
Why we always have to drill the offense , what about playing better defense, that’s why Pittsburgh always winning because they are a defensive team and it always keep them in games. This been the bengals game plan for years. It never got us a Super Bowl when are we going to learn ?
"Trust our defense." Punting the ball away with 2 minutes to go is a borderline fireable offense for zt. In an ideal situation, you get the ball back at the exact same spot you were at with 1 minute and no timeouts. Just go for the 4th down! You paid Burrow 275 million to take the ball out of his hands?
This Team will be Lucky to Finish 500 for the season!!!,The Coaching Staff is a Joke, except for maybe Lou!!!,The Head Coach consistently does not have his team ready to play at the start of a new season!!!,He now has 1 win and 10 losses in the 1st two games of the season since his tenure began, which undoubtedly will be 1 win and 11 losses after they get Spanked in Kansas City this coming week!!!!,Defense Win Championships, and Ownership has not put any serious emphasis on Improving the teams Run Defense, or Pass Rush, and this is Nothing new, it's been a Team tradition since the team came into the league!!!!,and the same can be said about the Offensive Line!!!,they haven't had an All Pro Offensive Line since the days of Anthony Munoz, and Max Montoya!!!!,The beating that Joe Burrow takes weekly will shorten his career or have him begging to leave town just like Carson Pakmer did!!!,Let's face it, the same problem exists today that has always existed, and that's The Brown Family being the Owners!!!!!,Same Old Bungles!!!!!!!
You have to be able to run the football, play off the running game so your offense isn’t one dimensional. Then you can force the defense to come out of their cover 2 shell, and play more of 7 or 8 man boxes. The Patriots rushed 4 guys with 1 linebacker in the box,and still shut down the Bengals running game. You have to get creative running the ball, give your RB a chance to get started, see the holes on the line and run between them. More under center snaps from Joe would help. Using Moss in the pistol behind Joe Burrow in a zone spread wide blocking scheme isn’t going to work.
If the Bengals lose next week on the road in Kansas City, which seems highly likely, Joe Burrows career record in weeks 1 and 2 combined will fall to 1-9. Crazy stat.
Bengals are so predictable I could coach an opposing team to victory. 2 runs up the middle followed by a checkdown pass resulting in 4th and 5 is so Bengals. I vividly remember when Marvin Lewis managed to field competitive teams, it was the same stuff. We could have beat the Texans in the wildcard if we didn't give up possessions with lackluster play calling. Struggling against the Brian Hoyers and Jacoby Brissets of the league is in the Bengals DNA. Struggling against unknown or unproven competition is in the Bengals DNA. Despite new coaches and players through the years, the hallmarks remain. Makes me wonder if Mike Brown has any influence on the coaching and playcalls.
