I know everyone is talking about cuts, but what about any pick ups? The Colts released Ronnie Harrison which I find a little confusing. I think he would be an interesting addition to the secondary. He’s played a ton with Jax and with Indy, and I think he would be a solid addition. He played linebacker and safety and can maybe add some depth, veteran presence, and experience. Just a thought, always like the dude since coming out of bama.

I typed this out before watching, and it turned out same as James. 2 QB, 3 RB, 6 WR, 5 TE, 9 OL 5 DT, 5 DE, 5 LB, 5 CB, 5 S

Would be interesting g if the Bengals figure out a way to be a bit more balanced amd have a much greater fusion between run and pass. Maybe 5 TEs would be a part of that.

I'm of the opinion now that if Bengals only stick with 5 LBs, that Heyward makes LB5 and Njongmeta hits the practice squad. Njongmeta is very good at what he does, but is a bit of a one-trick pony due to his size and slower speed. Heyward is more athletic and versatile than Njongmeta and has shown very clear improvement over last season. He's also more favorable for ST usage than Njongmeta is. Now if they decide to go heavy at LB with 6, then both Heyward and Njongmeta definitely make the roster, with Harper going to the PS. I also think McLachlan goes to the PS due to how little he got used in the preseason camps and games. I believe the Bengals were basically hiding him to ensure he can safely be put on their PS. Trevion Williams has been impresive to me. I think they are probably looking for a 4th since our top 3 guys relatively unproven especially in the health for an entire season.

That rookie linebacker Maema number 45 is gonna be a star.Josh Newton is gonna get better its something about his game.He needs reps going against Chase and Higgins at practice. Great video as always CBT.. I would really like it if the Bengals signed Ngakoue. Just sayin.. we could use a player like him, or a guy like Charles Harris for cheaper (if the Bears do sign Ngakoue) it would be nice on the thin d-line we now have & would just overall improve it. They won't do this though, it's wishful thinkin.

I did my own projection right before watching this, the only difference I had from you was I had Tufele over Carter.

The hype train over 84 Tanner Mac seems way overstated. A guy that lasted till 6th round injured for a college team that wasnt very good. This team doesn't use or need 5 tes. There's way more key spots to fill depth. If he is claimed oh well but hasnt really stood out much to even be claimed. Might be ok prospect but let him go its ok

I am livid that they let the Chiefs pick up the falsely accuse punter for nothing while we are stuck with a bum at punter, and lost our last playoff game, TO THE CHIEFS, in part because of awful punting. The entire league goofed up, but especially the Bengals.

Look I’m all for the “TV movie/Hallmark moment” of keeping njomgmeta but let’s be realistic here. What’s our goal this season? Super Bowl. Will keeping njongmeta be better to our chances of winning over say adding another O lineman? We can’t make a decision with our heart here. Njongmeta plays with his heart but all he can do is act as a downhill bull charging at a RB, his coverage skills are severely lacking. I think we have a better chance of wining the Super Bowl if we drop njongmeta and add in another O (or D) lineman

I disliked the joe mixon trade when it initially happened and I dislike it even more now. I think zach moss and chase brown will be a good duo at running back but the running back room as a whole is pretty thin. only 3 running backs? if zach moss or chase brown somehow gets injured, then the running back room is a real problem. also, tanner mclachlan is good..............but let's be honest here, do the bengals really need 5 tight ends when they already got 6 very good options at wide receiver? the bengals don't even use their tight ends in their offense like that anyway lol. the bengals might only need just 3 tight ends tbh. they shouldn't have any more than 4 tight ends.
