my 60 hasn't got the antenna in the way but i got the power outlet between the airbox mounts and the 2 boost led pressure switches too. not sure if the difference is because of RHD & LHD. it does hurt cutting & drilling holes in the rig and I haven't done the pillar yet 🥺

Thanks for sharing.. that’s quite an undertaking …. But we’ll worth sacrificing one for another. Once those beasts is on the road and road worthy it’s a lot of fun and you feel a lot of self worth, and pride knowing you have resurrected another Landcruiser!
I didnt have glue.. I put some cable ties around the straps and rubber strips then before tightening up the straps I cut the cable ties and removed them.. Good video!
Excellent video, thank you. Just a small suggestion to add tread sealant to the ball threads. Toyota factory replacements come with sealant/locker on those threads to prevent moisture from getting into the 'C' pillar, since the location is directly in the water runoff channel (outside the weather-stripping). I like those McMaster lift supports. Metal ends! Thanks for the correct part # !
Hahaha, I thought you painted the white 60 the brown color. I just did a touch up with fluid film on my HDJ81. I bought the hose attachment but it didn’t have the connector piece that sticks down into the top of the spray can. I had to use the extended tube that came with the can which worked okay. Good idea on the frame plugs, I need to find those. Thank you for posting.
This was very helpful, the important point being that you don’t have to drill 3 holes for the attachment of the snorkel and that only 2 are enough. I also like the idea of using the rivnuts instead of the rivets.✔️
You are very welcome! Doing them on the vehicle isn't quite as fun but it is certainly doable. Whenever I have an engine removed I just do it to save a hassle later. Let me know if you need the part.
