Even without texture release, my hair is heat trained and curls are loose as compared to when I started out. So much now with just blow drying, one might think my hair is relaxed. I am nervous to try the texture release now because I’m thinking I’ll be flat headed, that’s what brought me to your page.
You’re so gorgeous and your hair looks so nice and healthy! I want to give this a try my hair always gets frizzy after I straighten it even in the UK winter and I need a good trim
I got a texture release over a year ago and experienced my hair changing to due to the humidity blocker not being effective as well and I had to also straighten my hair daily. Looking back I liked how my hair would become bigger/wider but just wished my hair was longer. I don’t think the texture release is as good for 4c hair as advertised but I’m sure as our hair grows it will be easier to style etc
Would be good to see without any edits to prove you just used the GHD and it really was only "2 passes" but there's edits in it every time and all of a sudden it looks straighter...
At around 4mins 45s I show what two passes looks like, just sped up slightly as you have to use this quite slowly. It wouldn’t be a review if I used another product and I wouldn’t benefit in anyway from lying about it. You also have to bear in mind I have had a texture release previously too so that also impacts my results.!
