Some pronunciations sound the same in spite of the different spelling, for example, bucket is most often pronounced as bouquet in the classic British sitcom of “KEEPING UP APPEARANCES”.
I love this silly movie: it used to be on quite often when I was a kid. My friends and I would quote it for laughs....our favorite: " Choose me Sibari, I'm a good dancer!"

Not a bad film, but the plot synopsis was a bit misleading to me. It told of the main hero dressed in a Zorro/Robin Hood-esque disguise, yet he doesn't do so in the movie itself
Actually, the common age of the 'women' was 14. And the true reason why the Sabine girls did not want to return, was due to their newborn babies. No loving parent would leave their babies behind. This rape and abduction of the entire Sabine girls, is not a respectful time in history. It made Rome look like savages, murderers and obviously rapists. And that's why the 1st Testament 600 BCE was such a horror filled book. Followed by the immoral 2nd Testament of course.
Good performances, but scissors weren’t invented until about the time that Da Vinci painted “THE LAST SUPPER”, and he’s the one who invented scissors in the first place. Therefore, in actuality, Princess Farah probably used a common dagger for cutting off her hair when disguising herself.
This movie's not bad for what it is - but I can't help thinking it would be much more interesting if it was historically accurate. It completely ignores that the Crusade of the Emperor Frederick was unlike any other - he had a number of Muslims in his army, loyal to him and he won Jerusalem back through diplomacy without fighting a single battle.
He "won" by TREATY, Jerusalem for ONLY TEN YEARS (it was supposed to be ONLY from 1229 to 1239) But the Crusaders kept Jerusalem until 1244 (FIFTEEN years!) In 1244 the Muslims took Jerusalem back by FORCE!!
