Copyright claim for a few secs of audio gotta love the algorithm. Great mods really nice filter on the audio 8 years on is this info available to circuit benders and such like? ☺
I can't say anything against it's sound design capabilities, but, good god, it's like a Frankenstein monster, some terrible genetic experiment. It's a legendary synth, you preserve them as they are, as they are rare today. This is not the way, there are so menu other options today. Don't destroy them.
Lawrence No disrespect but this is an actual analog synth whereas your dss 1 is more expensive, shittier built quality and overall an actual shittier digital synth, which holds no candle to an actual analog 6 voices deep analog synth. But hey, you do you.
The AX73 has 1 oscillator per voice. It's a decent synth but not at all deep. It would make more sense to say this about the AX80. The DSS1 is a digital/analog hybrid sampler. Not all that comparable, but I found that I liked its analog filters more that the ones in the AX60 I played. Used as a synth, it's also much deeper, but the hardware is probably less reliable than that of the AX73. The DW8000 is similar but a synthesizer and not a sampler. Also much more reliable than the DSS1. If you're an analog purist you probably not gonna like either of these though
Back in the 80's I owned a Pro-1, and Prophet-600, and had played a Prophet-5 several times. A friend purchased one a Multi-trak and I got to spend some time with it. While it does have a true analog sound, and is muliti-timbral (limited), it unquestionably lacked the depth of the Prophet-600 and Pro-1, let alone P-5 or P-10.
I would like to get my bass station modded. Can you please give me access to the people that modded yours. If you'd be so kind as to give me their contact info I'd greatly appreciate it
