I have to tell you, first this is the second episode of yours that i've watched. I love the c2c afghans, have to learn the stitch. Also, the Appeldore yarn is the same yarn that (not sure if you know) Kate at the Last Homely House (on youtube) knitted herself a cardigan from the same yarn and colorway. P.S. If you are Sheree (not sure of your spelling) who are Ollie and Bella? I'll have to catch up the other episodes. I'm in NB, Canada <3
It was so lovely to watch your podcast after a long day with lots of things to do. Great way to relax 😊 Thank you for the granny shawl tip. I love wearing shawls and the shape of this one looks great. I also have a small stash of sock yarn leftovers. It wouldn’t make a blanket, so I love the shawl idea!
My first time w/you. You are so cute &so down to earth. All the goofy things that happen in this podcast made me laugh. “Oh I’ve got lipstick on my teeth.” So funny😮. Do you enjoy making socks? I so want to try them. I am 84 & tried along long time ago. But need to try again. Been trying to fine beginner sock books. Do you like crochet socks? Thanks for your time.
Enjoyed seeing all your projects - both the finished and in progress. Thanks for the tickler about cinema memberships. I'm always looking for non traditional gifts for my grandkids.
Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed watching! Yes the cinema passes are great, I’ve already been again since filming the podcast and going again on Tuesday 😂💖
Hey💖 How exciting! I learnt from the lovely Christine who is known as the Winwick Mum. If you Google Winwick Mum, a blog post should pop up with a great blog post tutorial explaining all about how to knit a sock. Good Luck and keep at it, it took me a fewgoes but once you get the concept they make great little gifts and projects to have🥰
Love your cinema socks🤩🤩 I’m so happy you like the heel. Thank you for a wonderful episode. It’s always so good to see you❤️❤️ Suggestion for a textured sock: Mermaid Waves Socks by Kim for Three by the Sea Designs. They are so pretty🤩
Thanks for another lovely podcast Sherrie. Love all the socks . It's getting me in mind of some more cast ones I need to do. The Hipster hat is one I've been meaning to cast on. I always leave hats too late in the season to get any benefit out of them. Currently nearly finished the Mussleburgh hat by Ysolda Teague which I started last year. Genius pattern but it's taken me ages. You probably bought the 3 skeins of green yarn for the Oslo hat by Petite Knit I know that recommends 150g which seems a lot. Looking forward to seeing the Halloween knits. Take care & happy knitting. X
Hey Tracy👋🏼 Ohhh I so want to knit a Mussleburgh hat! I think I am the last knitter to knit one 🤭 Oh yes - do you know what, I think you might be right! However I did attempt the Oslo hat with a different yarn and I frogged it because I struggled with the construction of it!💖
@@OllieandBella yeah I've looked at the Oslo too but opted for the Mussleburgh instead as you can get it out of one skein of yarn. It's a genius pattern where you can start & measure your gauge as you go then decide which size you want to make. You can also use 2 colours for a reversible hat & wear it with a fold up brim for extra warmth or as a beanie or slouchy beanie depending on the length. I've just about finished mine today & it'll be ready for blocking in a day or so. As a thank you for all your podcasts I'd like to purchase the pattern for you & add it to your ravelry. Just working out how to do that. If I fail I'll be in touch & I'll but you a patterns worth in your KoFi . I'll have a crack at that tonight.
🥰 So much fun - I loved every second. 😁💕 Your socks are so beautiful - I can't wait to knit my own. Your yarns are gorgeous - I LOVE seeing what yarns people get. Your granny shawl is beautiful!!!! I've started one, as well and I love to see what others have made!!! ❤️ Lovely podcast - I adore you!!!!
Hello 🙋🏼♀️ I recently re-discovered your channel and now I am catching up with all your episodes. I enjoy your podcast very much! You have so many lovely projects and the way you display them and talk about them is very inspiring. Opal yarns always have a colorway name. In this case the label sais (above the number „leuchtende Geburtstagsfarben“ which means something like bright birthday colors).
@@annaknitter Aww thank you Anna for your lovely comment and advice on the Opal yarn! I will have to remember that for next time. I have some lovely Opal yarn in my stash I am itching to cast on, although I have told myself I have to finish some wips first 🤭💖
Sorry for your loss of your dear Gran ,god bless her 🙏. My daughter lives in Cyprus and loves it . Loves the Harry potter yarn im a HP fan . Your crochet blanket and cushion is beautiful. Thank you for all your podcasts x
I haven't watched all of your podcast yet, It's late for me. I just subscribed to your podcast and I look forward to watching many more. I love the colors that you use! I see from the previous comment that you lost your Nan. I'm so sorry to hear that. Please take care!
I am very sorry to hear of your Nan's passing. Hold tight to your precious memories and share your stories of her and your times together. It was so nice to catch up with you!
I’m sorry you lost your grandmother, it’s never easy parting with loved ones. It’s good to see you back and all your lovely projects. I think I want to make the corner to corner blanket ❤ I’ve been reading the Blackbird Oracle by Deborah Harkness which I’m really enjoying.
