OBS records in MKV format because it is a recording-safe format that allows the program to save the file to the drive even if the OBS program crashes. MP4 is not a recording-safe format, and some video editors have problems with OBS native-mp4 files. So, I always record in MKV in case the power goes off or something like that. You can record directly as MP4 in OBS, and even set it to auto-remux into MP4 after recording. But for me, I just want the video to be useable if something happens during recording. Then I can remux it and edit it in an editor without any issues. It keeps the original mkv file so I can keep it as a backup until I am done editing the remuxed file. 🙂
@@M.W.VanDyke thank you for sharing your knowledge with the community. That's a great value add. Considering it takes seconds to convert, seems like MKV + Remux may be a better option.
nice video - I would like to point you to OBS /settings/Output/Recording - here you can set the file to be .mp4 from the get go and no conversion is needed. Thanks hope this is helpful.
Honestly, very well played by you guys. I am a little annoyed by your oppoenent, All they needed to do was build their board so the guy with the 1k stat Tarecgosa threw that match by not. Way to capitalize on their mistake though!!
@@puncakes2876 think his deck was pretty much set. They saw i had a deficiency and helped out. Glad it worked out in the end! Thank you for the support!
hi man i seen you do ps4 stuff about safe mode but now i need help. im in safe mode right now but when i try to move it to rebuild database it doesnt move
For this is it necessary to use primary controller which came with ps4 actually my primary controller is not working and I have tried my other controller it doesn't connect help me pls
@@SageTheProfessor it's stuck on the safe mode screen my game won't update I tried everything it says an error has Accord It says restart PS4 I didn't that and it keeps looping over and over I need help:(
Sounds like your issue may be beyond the scope of this video as the controller sounds like it is responsive. If you hit restart and it's automatically shutting down, may be a power supply issue or motherboard. You may want to try unplugging from the wall and holding the power button for 20 seconds. Reconnect and see if it helps.
@@mrstifler8987 hopefully it's not fried and just some bad current that needs to be discharged. The fact that it turns on and goes to safe mode is a positive sign.
You may want to consider an official cord if it's still not working. A community member suggested that they were able to disconnect their HDMI cable and plug it back in. Haven't been able to verify this but may be worth a try.
