I love how you didn't change the words it introduces an interesting dynamic to a classic song it makes your rendition very interesting, your performance was stellar.
Your cover is really, really good! Do you know a song Joni Mitchell sang "Born to take the Highway" or something like that? It is a song she sang very early, even before her first album was released. It is on RU-vid. Let me know if you like the song and if you could learn the song and cover it? It is from about 1965 and I think it is a beautiful song.. Joni singing in her folk music genre.
For a second I thought you were a fellow left handed guitar player 😂 Great voice and great guitar voicing too! Being in C you just made it so much more interesting playing it with almost Ukulele voicings
Good times for a change See, the luck I've had Can make a good man Turn bad So please, please, please Let me, let me, let me Let me get what I want This time Haven't had a dream in a long time See, the life I've had Can make a good man bad So for once in my life Let me get what I want Lord knows, it would be the first time Lord knows, it would be the first time
I stopped listening to Sting and saw your thumbnail for this song - it's a moment in history of a whole era in time - Chloe you got it - root and branch. Your harmony part is perfect. Roll with it all. Good luck.
I really wanted hear your version of Neil Young's Like A Hurricane. Why? Well my music teacher introduce that song to me when I was looking for new song to learn to play guitar, back in the day when I was 17-18 year old student. There a plenty of many covers of that song but I think I wanna hear your version the most. Just acoustic guitar and your voice, that's all I need to hear.
Excellent voice...reminescent of Jewel. I enjoyed your interpretation. BTW, Walk-down chords do not include Dmaj. Try Em/D al la sheet music and ultimate guitar tabs.
An 'old soul'.... singing older classics with a turntable in the background. :-) Question: Did you chime the notes, and add the other instruments also? LOVE your voice!
