Are you in Los Angeles ? I need a glass and mirror guy - I want to do soemthing special with it but if you can work out the workmanship for this you can do two 6 ft by 8ft mirrors on a special surface I build after talking to you.
Just curious, how do you do your silicone? Glass cleaner method? I've installed thousands of these and I've tried taping them off, free handing them, glass cleaner, etc and I think every method has its drawbacks. Yours looks pretty clean.

By the way, what company do you guys use for you shower door hardware and hinges? they kind of look like CRL hardware, which i personally hate. I love the American Shower Door hardware, all the gaskets come molded and the hinges have an adjustment on them, makes life a lot easier. Either way, nice job, shower looks nice and streamlined and clean.

Awesome job dude, I do my showers pretty much the exact same. Just a tip, instead of using a clamp to hold the door in place, you could use a small cut off piece of the bottom sweep to hold the door in place while leveling it and marking up the holes for the hinges, but I guess it's just preference. Awesome job!
I was a little concerned that I wouldn't be able to find the shower doors that I bought. I haven't opened up the boxes yet butt that's them. very informative and I'm going to have to be very patient triple check every measurement. there's no room for error. great video thank you.
We use clear silicone purchased from CR Laurence. The type we use is only sold to those who have an account with the company, but you can check your local stores for more information on the proper silicone to use.

Thank you, It takes years of practice and a lot of concentration to be able to install without a helper, however it is always good to have a helper when completing glass installations.
We use diamond tipped bits for our drilling, we suggest you visit your local hardware store to get the proper drill bit and size to meet your specific needs.

I'm trying to do the same thing. My issue is attatching shelves to the mirror. I know drilling holes into the mirror is very difficult. How can I attach shelves to the mirror?
Hello, thank you for the question. The difficult part is not being experienced in this particular field because you may easily break the mirror, but making the hole itself is fairly simple, like i mentioned before when you have the experience. When you do have the correct tools or experience you can get a professional to help you do this. Another practical and affordable options using double face tape. There is hardware that you can attach(stick) to use as support for these mirror shelves. The finished product may not be as clean and pretty, but it is less expensive.

When I first saw this video I was inspired and taken back by it but 2 years later since I have been fitting a lot and more complex. My main this is the fix panel is fixed with one fitting. How ling can silicone last in a shower with all the moisture and people knocking into it? I think years down the line that could just slip of as it's only supported by a tiny and baby clamp . I would have used l angle clamps and put a clamp on the floor then even if the silicone goes it would hold. Secondly Pls tell me that door isn't just in on raw plugs . If it is that door weighs between 30 and 35 kg roughly and again the movement and moisture will rip that of the wall. Hanging a door is only suitable if screwing into stud . Longer screws best 50 mm if you can Also using clear silicone on the bottom edge always exposes the blocks or rubbers it's put on. I started using white silicone . It looks better and cleaner and in terms on durability the clear goes yellow before the white. Also when using fix panels I reccomened using ct1 structural silicone as when it dries there is absolutely no movement. With normal bathroom silicone like crl laurence brand there's 2 or 3mm movement . This shower screen looks good but you need metal brackets to be a safety net for when the glue fails. There's a company near me in London England just using uv bonded glue and silicone with a glass brace. It looks good but can over 10 or 20 years can the glue take 30 to 40 kg swinging left and right and the moisture eating into it ? No I don't think so. Don't use just glue . Use brackets
