This specific installation needs the return panel because it supports the metal header and gives structure to the glass, but some installations just need the metal header attached to both sides of a wall so there is no need for a return panel. it varies depending on your bathroom. The glass for the fixed panel and door are 3/8 inch and the return panel is 1/2 inch for more product information visit www.alsquality.com
can the water leak out from the gap between the sliding door and the glass or the side wall? How about the hole used for slide the door, can the water leak out from there also?
Hi. Have you had any customer complain about the thru hole handle in the sliding door being uncomfortable to use? I ordered this door system and glass from a local shop and when they came to install I noticed they drilled holes for a normal tbar style handle. I told them I was expecting the through hole which comes w the serenity system but they said they get complaints about the through hole...so it seams they made the decision for me to go with the tbar. I'm guessing theycare making that story up so I will go with the tbar and not have them order a new door....
In general we do not have complaints with this style of handle. it all depends on the customer, their preference and the overall look they want their shower door to have.
