The 9-vowel sound caused a physical reaction in me. I have worked with 5-MeO DMT and that’s the exact sound I have heard 3 times, right before blasting off (only quicker and louder). I would love to know if others have had this experience.
8 months I've been there and it was beyond what a human mind can handle. I was fighting for my sanity every minute. So much fear and panic, confusion. I wasn't here, but somewhere between the realms. Can't even put it into words. The dreams and the feelings...I couldn't even eat, I was throwing up at night in my garden.
Modern agriculture- including vegan modern agriculture- is responsible for an enmornous amount of animal death and destruction of the environment and eco systems. Just because you did not eat the flesh does not mean flesh did not die in the producing of vegan foods. Way more animals die do to modern agriculture then hunting. This isn’t disputable.

From the inside, the physical situational detection events that occur within our physiology are subjective experiences, rather than accessible occurrences. From the outside, these events are accessible occurrences, rather than subjective experiences. In contrast with all other physical events observed in nature, these contextually dichotomous detection events seem to be an ontological anomaly. Because of this, whenever we conceptually abstract and label our own subjective experiences for purposes of self-reflection and discussion, we unwittingly make them seem as though as they are ontologically different to the objective detection events occurring within our own physiology. In other words, to us, the detection events seem "physical", and the experiences seem "non-physical". Because this is not actually the case, the field of cognitive neuroscience remains profoundly unsuccessful in observing the mechanism(s) responsible for (what they assume is) an objective detection event giving rise to a subjective experience, leading to the appearance of what has come to be known as the "hard problem of consciousness". Empirically, all there is to find are these autonomously-proactive entities, with contextually dichotomous situational detection events occurring within them. Other than the simple fact that we ARE such entities, there is no reason why it feels like anything for us to be alive. This realisation is the dissolution of the "hard problem".
The only illusion I see after watching the video is the content creator thinks free will doesn't exist, and tries to suggest Donald Hoffman does also, who clearly states his research thus far is theoretical only, and he has no proof about free will. Another channel to avoid for intentionally or unintentionally spreading misinformation.
We never talk about near death experiences especially in children when it comes to consciousness that because of the stigma surrounding discussions of near death experiences and the ethical concerns especially with children but it can be done children are far better candidates for studying near death experiences because its harder to bias theres experiences with cultural and social influences near death experiences defy the physical material explanations of consciousness
I kept chuckling as I listened to Harris stumbling around the subject of "consciousness" without saying anything that made sense. He is clearly confused about what "consciousness" is and offers no definition of the term that is helpful. He's basically saying "consciousness is consciousness because we are conscious of consciousness"... which is a meaningless statement. I'm really quite surprised that Harris can say nothing more helpful given he's supposedly spent many years studying the subject. But then, he isn't alone. Most of the RU-vid videos on the subject of "consciousness" make almost no sense. I can think of only one exception: The videos of Daniel Dennett discussing the subject.
@@EricMiller-wf9lt Sam Harris says lots of smart stuff. As does Dennett. In any case, what you've written doesn't make sense to me. Your point seems unclear. And the phrase "nobody wants to talk about XYZ" might more factually be relevant if you wrote "I don't want to talk about XYZ."
And of course they will try dismiss the near death experiences simply to it being your imagination or hallucinations this is a very ignorant because I believe this kind of mentality creates limitations in researching this phenomena in near death experiences I do believe this is the case because of a lot of reasons mainstream science it goes against the mainstream standard model the general consensus is consciousness is reduced to materialistic means and anything that doesn't support this view is generally dismissed as non scientific I also believe that there are also other reasons such of social and cultural reasons that's creates limitations around study's of near death experiences aswell as ethical limitations especially with children anyway it's quite powerfully research it can be done in ways that are respectful and ethical towards children but there's also another bias withing the scientific community and stigma about including children in any kind of research Todo with consciousness because well children aren't really seen as being conscious or don't actually pop up in conversations about consciousness so there is a huge amount of stigma and bias also I believe that the military complex also creates limitations of studying near death experiences because studying consciousness and death and understanding near death experiences phenomena has the potential to end wars or at least rethink our actions and reduce conflict and the arms manufacturers can't have now can they

My dark night has been happening gradually over the past 5 years. My spiritual journey began back in highschool in 2012. Technically, I'm still very much in the thick of it but I'm slowly coming out of it. I'm endlessly searching for my purpose and everything I thought I was and who I was on the inside wasn't me. I was a people pleaser, a push over, a docile girl that always thought everyone knew what was better for me. I've recently cut off three people out of my life - my mom, brother, and so called best friend of 14 years. They were toxic and I didn't need those sort of people in my life. It feels empty, I literally didn't know who I was for a long while. I stuffed my face with food to feel something and to feel nothing at the same time. I doom scrolled, played endless video games, did everything I could to numb myself. But then I got tired so I started feeling my emotions and the sadness set me free because I finally gave space to it all. I started journaling again, watching the old movies I loved as a teen, started listening to meditation and music that I haven't for a decade. I read, go for walks with my daughter, I draw with her. It feels like I'm slowly crawling out of it all because I got tired of being this cloud of doom. I'm still in search of my purpose but at least for now my purpose can be to add meaning to life again ❤ It's been a very rough journey but perhaps this is who I was meant to be all this time.
