im on week 2 , feeling good already only one concern i have is that my surgeon told me not to visit PT till i can bend my knee 90 degrees. They didn't use а piece of my hamstring instead of that they used one from a donor.
I am 2 days post op on my right leg and I tore my acl and miniscus, I was wondering what excercises you did, how long was it before you could drive again and when did you start doing the excercises( immediately after op or a few days later). I’ve watched all the videos on your left and right acl tears and your journey is really motivational for me so thank you so much.
Just got my acl n mensicius repaired yestefday and boy today its painful but well get there i also wasnt given a brace as my surgeon n didnt feel i needed one , cant lift my leg now feels like a dead weight supoose in time ill get there
Anyone had an ACL repair with other underlying health issues? I have athritis, lupus sle, lupus nephritis and fybro and may need surgery to fix my ACL. Don't think i will have the energy to heal that quick.
@kneesovertoes Guy i strongly recommed look him up my menicus was bad for 11 years now after 5 month feel 95% better split squat backwards walking and sledge and also use slant wedge for squats trust me brother try it !!
Hey, how are you doing now? I just got ACL reconstruction with meniscus repair 42 hours ago at HSS as well. I haven't been doing any exercises, or adjusted the brace at all, and I have been taking the oxy. I'm just not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing right now. My shin is still numb (they took the patella) and I've really just been in bed all day, getting up around 3-4 times a day. I elevate and ice it occasionally throughout the day, but it feels so fragile I'm nervous to do any exercises. What's your opinion?

Hey Its been 11 days I had my ACL+Miniscus surgery. Before the surgery I'm very much nervous and tensed. I was just randomly checking videos on ACL surgery and i have seen your videos. After that I was very much confident on the day of surgery, as i got to know how the healing process goes with weeks. Your videos kept me motivated all the time. These videos are really helping me through my recovery process. Thankyou!
What did u do to help bending I’m 5 weeks post op acl and mcl surgery I can lay my left flat but can’t get any bend the knee is super tight still going to physical therapy but knee super type every since my leg extensions came back
I’m having ACL surgery & your videos are very informative & thank you for that. Only thing that is distracting is the background music. Some parts are hard to hear what you are saying. Would be better if music was not used. Don’t need the music.😉
NEVER crush up feed for anybirds and those thermomerters do not work well and they should take 16 days so your temp was off and was too cold teml should be 101
Does anyone know how I can remove water that got inside the inflatable? After this it won’t inflate or deflate properly. Not sure if the water is causing the issue.
