That hoard was stolen crown jewels from King Johns boxes lost on the Wash ,Norfolk when he was caught by the tide. It was probably taken by Welsh bowmen and stripped ,as it might be recognized when they tried to sell it. It unknown why they didn't return to collect the gold. But this story is without doubt the truth. Many pieces where often kept in the crown jewels dating from Saxon times. It should be restored to the crown collection.
Gordon - just wish you had more videos posted on here. I have had to revisit my settings this year and relearn the Nox a bit too as my results were not as good as I would have liked. That part has now been resolved and I am a lot happier and getting good stuff up. I'm now on my own permission with a lot of Roman potetntial and this is another area of settings that I needed to iron out. I think you have just proven what the manual says about Recovery speed and the opposite of what others have been using. Great informative vid as usual.
Not knocking any pointer but I wish Minelab or Garrett would make a plain and simple pointer like the GP except solid as a rock. I had about 5 GPs. Drop them once hard and thats it. I would like a pointer with on and off, no light and an inch and a half detecting range and waterproof and will take getting run over with an 18 wheeler. Price in the 50.00 Dalla range. Oh well, I guess the KISS thing, keep it simple stupid, is long gone. One more thing, just opinion, I am finding lots of goodies that others are discriminating out.
I love the Quest x10 pro I have one I live in America there not so popular here but I love it does what I want and is light consistent and reliable all I need In a detector great video man.....
I went to a field where Roman artefacts were found I decided to walk besides an old road down steep ridge and I found under a tree I treasure in a jug from the early ads it was so great was my first crazy find in there was a fabric which was still part wise okay and wrapped in the fabric silver artefacts and iron which was totally rusted away I imagined something could roll down the hill but what it really was it was not easy to reach and jackpot hhhhh
Quest make awesome detectors. Can I ask do you know where I can get an after market elliptical coil ideally between 10 inch and 16 Inc that will also have fast recovery speed. For my Quest Pro
