Here's a short video shot by Gordon Heritage, filmed at Detectavil Sept 2019. It features Jack Smith using the Minelab Vanquish out in the field behind the test bed and inflatable coil.
I found out where iv'e been going wrong on this video, it's lack of training!! not enough bacon sarnies and macdonalds, well what a shock, I always thought I was doing something wrong, Thankyou for pointing that out 🤣
What I would say is that on the settings sometimes I get positive and negatives together and always pull out a horseshoe or a nail so having all iron audio on is useful for that
Nice video. There are very few videos that actually demonstrate how a machine sounds, whilst being swung. All these youtubers that just show what they find and then say "onto the next" are just into it for either the fame or money or sponsorship. I learn nothing from those videos. Nice to see a young lad too showing the machine off. Well done Jack and Gordon.
Come on guys. This is a review / entertainment video. All detectors are like the operator. Either new, intermediate or accomplished. Training is needed and all discoveries are a joy to find. Cut the crap personal opinions and be thankful the younger generation is taking up a fulfilling hobby. Hopefully the kid will find the hole you lost your mothers advice. Treat others as you would want to be treated.
Hi there , only just found your channel ? the irony is that over the years a lot of my detecting accessories have come from Joan Allen , stainless spade ect , anyway a good demo with good information well done very enjoyable have subbed and liked ATB GL & HH regards Rob .
Well i just saw this a bit late why because i have allready bought one and so far i like what i bought yes i do allready two other detectors i have a whites eagle two i bought 10 yrs ago and has found me heaps including a1oz gold nugget in QLD i allso have a Garret 400 I witch i like though a bit noisey on the beach Now the vanquish wich i like on the beach it is quiet yet to go bush with it but am confident it will be fine no its not a Toy
Good Bonding video. Horrible Test / Demo video! You should of planted different objects amd coins at different levels in the ground to show us how this model does
It's a great machine, but not with the v12 coil, which is ugly and heavy. The v8 is ideal for this machine, especially for kids. But, this is not a toy for a kid. lt's a professional machine up there with the nox8oo. Many professionals are using it and have given it glowing reviews. Unfortunately, using a kid in the video gives the wrong impression - that it's a toy [as some clowns are saying here]. Couldn't be farther from the truth. lt's not true that you won't pick up bottle caps when your not in iron mode. lt certainly will in the other modes [they have pre-set discrimination, but not enough for bottle caps] unless discriminated out.
Just no. Simply a garret copy, with a few of minelabs buts thrown in. It doesnt even seem to perform that well. But for the money of the top one, you can get a deus lite. So that'll be a no from me.
Think this machine looks terrible and to b honest for the price I think the Simplex beats this Garrett lookalike in every department. Should have a lower price tag to compete to be fair to detectorists, if one company can do it they all can surely. To be fair it couldn’t even tell a good signal which was a good size 3-4 inches or so down, not exactly a glowing review of this machine. Yes it was an irregular piece but the tone was terrible. I love my Nox but this machine from what I’ve seen so far I would turn a beginner away from, there are just better options for the money. Only my opinion of course.
its just a whites prizm4 spray painted red pretty dissapointed really with the clever tech minelab can build gtx3030 nox800 etrac but then they have brain farts like the go find series why do it?thats why minelab seem to fall behind other brands
