What type of value would you be looking for for rachaad white? 12 team SF start 8. He’s my rb3 and worried to get off him (for a non rb) would make me too thin…
@PurePotentialFF This comment actually confuses me. The Lions lack receiving options (other than ARSB & LaPorta). Reports before & during camp indicate Gibbs will be used more in the receiving game for Detroit. With Monty still there, it makes complete sense. I get what you're saying, but why disregard reports like this?
Most extreme take I’ve heard on Jacobs so far, guy produced in a bad offense and now finally in an efficient high scoring offense, he seems like a steal if people are selling. I see him mostly in buy videos haha cool to see other arguments I guess
@@user-hj8uq6we8p it’s possible people are selling him cheaper in some leagues than his startup ADP would suggest. But if I was on the clock at the 5.09, he wouldn’t be top 10 in my queue
With two leagues and no start ups for a couple years I always find it hard to use current ADP as a tool in my established leagues where managers aren’t watching every bit of data. Probably more of just a hole in my strategy. Love the videos as always man, keep it up
@@user-hj8uq6we8p thanks!Unfortunately, there’s no good way to measure a player’s value universally since it’s all subjective. Best we can do is consult multiple sources and learn the tendencies of the specific managers in our leagues.
I think people are pretty down on Jacobs. I think he at least starts week 1 as a work horse and then that’s when I would consider selling. I know my leagues won’t give a first for him currently.
Nice! I'm selling Goff for Joe Flacco today! Flacco has that league winning upside at 21ppg! His dynamic playmaking even guarantees that rushing upside! Obviously, kidding. The OC note is definitely worth considering, but I'm not sure I'm on board with the idea Goff is capped out.
@@absbread I very seriously doubt Flacco could’ve maintained his pace for a full season haha - he was on a 17-game pace of 693 pass attempts and 44 TDs
@PurePotentialFF in 1qb ppr, do you think Jacobs and 2026 2nd could net Warren and 2025 1st (or 2026)? I'm have Jacobs, am contending, and Warren owner is a GB fan. Thx.
Don't sell Goff now... sell him in season, towards your trade deadline..... Goff has 14 of 17 games indoors in 2024... 2 of 3 games outside are in December... Goff will be a top 5 QB through weeks 1-11
@@ritzcrackerz1258 yeah maybe but i don't mean total dust - just mean like a journeyman/RB3 vet that gets some stretches of volume , some SY/GL, etc. - bc the value would plummet and these things happen quickly
@@PurePotentialFF javonte would be the pattern match for major injury nerfing a career, but i just mean like a journeyman/RB3 vet that gets some stretches of volume , some SY/GL, etc. - bc the value would plummet and these things happen quickly
Goff is definitely maxed out, and likely overvalued - it seems to me like he's a "well kinda gotta keep him ranked here/at that spot in my SF overall (the 4.01 btw) bc changing tiers in QB probably drops him lower than he should be" - BUT while i have him "ranked" there, i'm usually either taking two QBs before him or one before/one after bc i don't liek that price - so it may not matter much - but even though i do have Maye "ranked" above him and JJM "ranked" slightly below, i'd need a plus on top of either - way too much uncertainty w/both - i like the other idea of grabbing a Cousins or Stafford better
Would you sell Malik Nabers? I just finished my startup and my starting WRs are London, Nabers, Tank Dell, Deebo, and JSN. Im worried that Nabers will underperform for up to 2-3 years
i, too, am not a huge Cook fan - but the Brady usage (and run rates overall) is a good sign, plus given the roster, he and Ray Davis could be the discount/light version of Gibbs/Monty
You hear a lot of dynasty creators preaching "volume" but running backs like these, you don't want them getting run into the ground. You just hope they get more involvement in the passing game and make explosive plays with those opportunities.
This happened in one of my leagues. The guy who won 2 years in a row didn’t touch his team post rookie draft so no trade or waiver wire not even subbing players on bye week he was the 5th seed first year and 6th seed second year. In the second year there was a super stacked team that outscored the rest by like 30 points a week had the 1 seed and lost in the semis. The only other loss he had was the last week of the regular season to me who was at the time in last place cause I had burrow, Chubb, Mike Williams and Waller.
Thank you! I occasionally reference Jakob Sanderson's ranks, which are housed on his Substack, Thinking About Thinking. But, for the most part, I work off of startup ADP / personal experience.
@@justsherman4 lack of passing upside, offense has serious questions, being propped up on a very small sample of games I suspect he’ll get a lot of touches this year and be fine, but he doesn’t excite me
So how about with players that we just drafted in round 3 and 4? Do we sell them for what we bought them for, to keep sustained value? Or keep them for the chance of getting even more?
@@Peyterrr no, I love rolling the dice on 3rd/4th round rookie picks. The risk is extremely low, but the payoff can be great if you hit on a Puka or Dell type.
I watch almost every dynasty fantasy creator on RU-vid and you’re easily my favorite. Straight data and a unique perspective unlike others. Just a matter of time before this channel blows up. Please keep up the great work!
In my 10x10 1QB PPR no TEP 14 bench, I dealt Tee and Kmet for top-4 2025 1st and Allgeier. Other wrs are Tyreek/Kupp/Keenan/DJM/Rice/Odunze. Other TEs are Kittle/Kincaid. Now have three 1sts (two likely top-4). Pretty happy with that move. Also got Spears for 2.08. Cheers.
In the start you argue that rookies are insulated for value but then at the end you present data that indicates they are risky. Can you flesh that out for me a bit? Thanks.
@@PerkinsRooster towards the end, I’m specifically arguing that young players that aren’t rookies are risky. Rookies are sort of their own thing, and they tend to be more insulated due to lower expectations.
I think Jamison williams is being slept on for the first time in his career. He is healthy and out of trouble and #2 WR. I think he will have 1150 yards 7 TDs
Loving your content! Fresh prospective. I have a trade question if you’re willing to answer it. 10 team start 9 superflex. I was offered Christian kirk + 25 1st for tank dell. I have puka, waddle, dell, cooper, jsn, odunze, sutton, palmer and worthy at wr. Would you entertain that trade as a contender? Im going back and forth on it
In a startup draft i received an offer of first, second, third and fourth round of 2025 rookie draft for mine startup pick round 9 and 10, what do you think?
So buy 1sts from bad managers always because their dice are weighted in your favor; and buy 1sts from good managers as far into the future as possible to make for a more fair dice. Good stuff.
I’m doing an experiment just for shits and gigs in a low buy in league. I have traded away every single pick I have through 2027 😂. My roster is still the youngest in the league and I have depth at every single position. Hammers in every starting slot.
