I will continue to fluff your pillow in every video, because you are such a breath of fresh air in a stagnant cesspool of regurgitation, within the dynasty space. Your videos always bring priceless knowledge and your angles of perception are rarified in the fantasy community. There’s no doubt you will be one of the premier go to guys once your grind continues to blow up! Thanks for the hard work brother, keep it up!
I did my second dynasty start up a month a half ago. Found this video a little after. Did a lot wrong. Cudve had Allen (trading my 2nd and 3rd) and Lamar with my 8. Drafted Bijan because lack of understanding and ended up with Dak and Goff. I’m competitive this year at least with the rest of my team but value wise and qb wise I messed up big time. It’s tough to swallow.
Joining my first dynasty league tonight. Turned this on and noticed the Foles poster. I got that hanging up too! Go birds! Thanks for the info! Definitely nice someone else appreciates Bo Nix. He fell in one of my leagues to round 12 to me!
Trade Calculators. I use the Dynasty Dominator app. Even tho I'm not new anymore, I still use it just to make sure my bias isnt too far off from what a calculator thinks.
great video. i have my dynasty startup in august, it’s a 10 man, full PPR, no TE premium, start 3 wr, 2 rb, 1 te, 1 flex. i have the 1.07, should i take bijan, puka, garret, or anyone else, or look to trade back a little? the guy with the 1.10 is interested and has thrown around the idea of trading my first and fifth round picks for his first and third in the startup
Sounds like 1QB? I don’t really play that format so I’m not too familiar with the ADP, but moving a 5th for a 3rd just to move back 3 spots sounds like a great idea. Of the group you listed, I like Garrett > Bijan > Puka
@@PurePotentialFF yeah it’s 1 QB, i’m gonna try to get a 2025 2nd or 3rd from him on top of that just to see if i can get a little extra value. I really appreciate it keep up the great work!
Im in a keeper League. Can keep 4...T Hill (1st Rd) Laporta (8th), Achane (9th) and Rashee rice (10th).....My league is in Trouble!!! I have possible TE1, RB 1 and a WR 1 For and 8th 9th and 10 round picks 🤣🤣🤣🤣
In my start up draft now I got sniped all to hell from core vets so my team is 80% under the age of 25 atm... cj stroud, Marvin Harrison, Malik nabers, rachaad white, z white Brian Thomas tank dell... its been brutal
Just got done with a startup where non of us have done dynasty before so the draft had some weird picks. I ended up with a core Jefferson jamaar Harrison jr Jayden Daniel’s Drake Maye and Kyle pitts. Should I be trying to send picks and Drake for a top tier qb? Im thin at rb so should I try to trade for one or should I just wait for the next draft class? Any advice is appreciated.
Awesome video, one question I do have maybe not startup related. For trading MHJ, what do you prefer, holding him or tiering down for his current price?
I do think he's overpriced as an early 2nd-round startup pick. I think Nabers and Wilson have much better prices. But he is a scary guy to trade away haha
I'm starting my first dynasty, we're drafting now (slow draft) I don't understand the trade value so I feel like the play for me is to stick and pick unless there's a group I don't like then try and move down
@@Bdog4114 yeah getting the value right can be tough. One thing you can do is estimate which players will be available at each pick and then plug it into a trade calculator like KTC. At least gets you in the ballpark.
@PurePotentialFF Gotcha. I have the 2nd pick so I got Josh Allen. I'm waiting to get back to the turn. I'm thinking of a WR and QB. I like Purdy a lot bc he's 24 on a banger team. So if Nabers, or Puka are maybe AJ Brown are there I might try to go one of them with Brock at the turn and start with an elite WR and my two starting qbs
@@Bdog4114 I’m personally not as into Purdy that high - I’d much rather get Lawrence or Dak there with one of those WRs But structurally, I think you’re on the right track
@PurePotentialFF what's your reasoning? Just curious. Mine is he's 24 on a stack team with a lot of weapons. He could improve even more. Does it have to do with his throw volume? Just trying to learn a different perspective
@@Bdog4114 yeah, just a guy who doesn’t run and relies on hyper efficiency due to low passing volume. He ran extremely pure last season and still didn’t sniff a top 5 season - I don’t think there’s much room for improvement or league-winning upside
Huge fan my guy, got a longer question for you. 14 man 1QB & double flex I won the league last year and have a fairly stacked team. My issue is I think I went all in this offseason and made stupid trades I did trade for MHJ but now my only draft picks besides the 1.01 is the 3.07 & 25 2nd I am very worried ab my draft capital and was wondering if I should just worry about it next year or find ways to accumulate some now and if you think so how? Lineup: Qb: Kyler Rb: JT Rb: Saquon Wr: Hill Wr: Adams TE: Hock Flex: Puka Flex: MHJ Bench: Warren, JSN, kendre, otton, & AR15
That’s a really strong team in a 14-teamer. I wouldn’t worry about acquiring more 2024 draft capital. But you do have a lot of guys that will be losing value in the future in Barkley, Hill, Adams, etc - so I’d look to add 2025 or 2026 picks if you can, even if you have to move off one of your “win now” guys
@@PaulDiFranco-b7k Barkley is the guy in that group I think is the most overvalued, so I’d start there. Might be able to tier down and get a 1st depending on the league. But I’d be willing to do the same with Adams. I’d also see about moving JSN for a 1st
Glad I found your channel! I’m team productive struggle though..14 team league 2 years of missing the playoffs but well worth it imo, I’ll be in the playoffs competing for a ship for the next decade without breaking a sweat. In dynasty for me patience is the best strat bc it’s the one trait the majority of owners do not have. QB: Lawrence RB: Achane WR: G Wilson WR: London TE: McBride Flex: Nabers Flex: Flowers Flex: Pickens Bench: Pitts, J Williams, C. Watson, Kendre miller, J. Wright, McLaughlin Picks: 3 2025 1sts and all of own picks through 27
