He died fighting whilst attracting an entire herd with him, jamming Mötorhead and Ted Nugent on the way there it’s literally the most metal way to go out.
Nearly done with season 4 of the series and I'm starting to miss Merle, despite him being a bigger fictional dirtbag than The Governor was. I also feel major sympathy for Daryl because he was forced to end his own brother
I’m he died so it was comic accurate by I’d think Lori was the issue if Lori died earlier before shane that would mean Rick and shane would feel each others pain and work through it together bc shane ain’t jealous and Rick ain’t mad then he’d live longer yk
Looking back on it Shane was right. Judith was being protected almost exclusively by other people and Rick let Carl die over some dumb shit. How interesting would it be to have an alternate timeline series where Shane was the leader instead of Rick and they go along and meet the same different groups and encounters but his decisions are what makes the difference of the shows.
I cried when merle died not necessarily because it was sad although it was but because i knew I wasn’t gonna see merle again, he is my favorite character
Yeah he got shot when the group first went to Woodbury and Rick was still going through it mentally and that’s when he hallucinates one of The Woodbury solidiers as Shane and he just stares at him and the guy fire as a shoot at them which hits and kills Oscar and then the Governor came and killed Axel as retaliation for breaking into Woodbury
The only reason they killed him off was cause he was late to shooting the episodes but I miss him he was cool as shit. He’s a good actor and so we’re so many of season 1
