I LOVE your videos, I watch them all the time! I just recently got offered a second grade teaching position and your videos have been so inspiring to me, since I have only taught preschool. You mentioned you do a "one word" project with your kids, would you care to give me some information on what that consists of?
Do you think a student teacher could also ask in her own right if they can start this journal together? I like the idea of it because every notes and such is in one place, but I wouldn't want to put any more work on my mentors' plates.
I know this is an old video, but I am a new subscriber and I have been binge watching your videos from the beginning. I want to know if you do class jobs! Do you? I am really torn because I have heard positives and negatives.
Love the energy you had. Key word HAD, little did you know the world's most distorious year would come forth, rendering all your hard work pointless. Lol

When I was a student teacher my teacher went and worked in the pod in the hallway where I could easily grab her if I need help. It was nice because it allowed me to feel like the “real” teacher but I didn’t feel nervous or alone because she was close enough if I needed her. I wonder if working in your back room for part of her teacher would help the both of you? Just a thought - I love your videos and you as a person and teacher!!❤❤
For LETRS I would meet up with others and complete the work and assessments together online. It helped a lot. Also, the answers for all of the tests are online. We didn’t have to do the case study.
Thank you so much for these videos!! I’m a senior in high school who is looking into being a teacher. Love watching these vlogs to see what I might be getting myself into for the future <3
You have a lot going on. So glad you had a lovely personal day. Just take all your training and Masters study one day at a time. Maybe try planning what you want to achieve with each one a week at a time
My district started Letrs 3 years ago. We pushed hard year 1 through the 1st book which is intense and full of info. When we got to the 2nd book the district realized they needed to slow down a little and spread it over 2 years. It definitely gets easier when it moves into more of the practical knowledge that you use with the kids so hang in there!
