I'm kinda curious if the 828 passenger have the same power as zeke or not. Because as we all know, zeke got a special power that can sense other's feeling and even transferred it after he survive the death date.

Yeah yeah the ending was kinda interesting but in choosing the ending they did, the writers and creators left about 200 untied loose ends for the fans to quarry. First of all anybody who knows about time travel movies knows that RULE #1 is that you DO NOT reveal events of the future bcuz you'll disrupt the timeline. Ben's dumb azz immediately tells Grace, "Oh that's Saanvi Bal, she's gonna cure Cal." Just ruined the timeline. Michaela's dumb self runs out and immediately tries to woo up a strange taxi driver, who is Zeke, who at that time instance is still a depressed alcoholic instead of waiting for the correct time stamp in the future to meet him in the cave. Saanvi goes in a lesbian, falls in love with Ben years later, then returns back in time knowing what happened between her & Ben but goes running back to her girlfriend. Which means shes emotionally confused about her own feelings. Then there's Cal. I don't even wanna talk about the confusion which is Calvin Calamander Stone. Too much to discuss. I just feel like the writers were just randomly selecting plot twists just to keep the show running.
As much as I enjoyed this series, when one of the most powerful beings in the universe with the power to end the planet Earth with a single thought is talked out of armgeddon by Michaela Stone slightly raising her voice,it was a bit of an anti climax for me. Also when Vance went to look at the dent left in the ground (presumably somehow flight 828) unless I missed it,we never got an explanation for this?
Before the got back into the past, the judgement scene. I wish that couldv'e been done better since to just see a black fog entity that was needed to be cast out is really confusing. Nevertheless, Manifes was still a great show. Just wished it hadn't got cancelled a buncha times then done again by another company.
Everything in the montage at the end was real, none of it was a dream. Brendan Hunt did a Q&A on Reddit & confirmed that it wasn't Ted's dream but actually what happened to each of the characters after Ted left. He also said that it would've been confusing to have Ted suddenly back in England at the wedding when he hadn't even been shown arriving back home yet. Besides, Ted had never met the couple from Beard After Hours, nor had he met Rebecca's Dutch bloke & his daughter - so how could he dream about them?
Would love to see a black mirror video about connecting all of the seasons together/ easter eggs or maybe trying to put everything in chronological order for a timeline of sorts!!
This is an AI generated script and voice for sure. Notice how the voice says “demon 79 inches” rather than just saying “demon 79”. It sounds like the entire video was written by ChatGPT and probably most of the other elements of this video weren’t hand-made. Ironic that it’s a video about black mirror.
I don't understand why they picked up the werewolf episode rather than sticking to the format that technology can be scary. That episode is more the supernatural is scary and people are just selfish jerks. I couldn't get past the plot hole that the replicas were on earth rather than in the space station in Beyond the Sea.
The only show I love I don't want any more seasons for, spin offs yes please tho lol but this ending was perfection, I can see "The Richmond Way" them going on without Ted or a women's team spin off I'm not sure
I think Loch Henry and Beyond The Sea were the strongest episodes, and even those weren’t incredible. The season overall was lackluster and they leaned in way too hard on the meta commentary
I *really* liked this review. Not only because this list is nearly identical to my own ratings on this season but it’s wonderfully articulated a straight to the point. I’m not having my hand held as if I never watched the season and I adore your honesty when talking about the separate episodes! The only place my opinion diverges is I put Demon76 at the top of my list and Beyond the sea second, only because I feel like Demon76 is a good episode fundamentally and Beyond the sea is a good episode within the context of black mirror (as well as it made me cry and I was a little salty about it) But Mazey Day is definitely the weakest out of the bunch. It feels like the twist just came out of left field, especially because it seemed like it was setting itself up for a meta commentary about the lack of privacy, especially in the early 2000’s and then BOOM WEREWOLF! and idk it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t that good either. As well as I feel like Loch Henry just… ends? If that makes sense? It felt like a dramatized true crime episode (which was the point probably) but because it really wasn’t the result of any technology or cosmic horror created by technology it just didn’t feel like a great black mirror episode to me. Joan is awful, Beyond the Sea, and Demon 76 are definitely in the big three here. And again I absolutely loved how neatly and well done this video is - down to the structuring. Absolutely wonderful to have over breakfast and easiest way to get a new subscriber. This video *for sure* needs more views.
This is the best recap of the season I've seen so far. Great take on the exploitation on events. We'll see what happens with this submarine. They'll probably make a documentary soon 🫢
This is not an explanation. This is a recap....all videos are just recaps on this show. Basically closed captioning. I have so many questions still. Did Ben get olives Voicemail or was that scene just pointless. Are the present day characters just erased from time (Older Olive, Traumatized Eden, ). TVA is going to have some pruning to do or maybe the writers already did that?
The voicemail was pointless that was just for the audience to hear what she needed to say. Ben did the right thing anyway so he didn’t need to hear it. Yes they are either erased from time, the world ended or they’re still living, who knows.
in season 8 Halstead wasn't the only one making step aside, Ethan Choi also step aside. well to say the least both out with good back story compare to other before them
