This video gives no contacts in regards to the actual recovery time from an ICL procedure... As a previous ICL patient (not with this institute nor this physician) your vision will be blurry/ hazy for about 1 to 2 weeks as your eyes continue to heal and gradually stabilize... not the next day.. this video is misleading.

1. Infection: Any surgical procedure carries a risk of infection, which can potentially affect the eye and vision. 2. Cataracts: There is a risk that the ICL might cause or accelerate the development of cataracts, especially in younger patients. 3. Increased Intraocular Pressure (IOP): The ICL might cause increased IOP, which can lead to glaucoma if not properly managed. 4. Halos and Glare: Some patients might experience halos or glare around lights, particularly at night. 5. Vision Loss: Although rare, there is a small risk of significant vision loss due to complications from the surgery. 6. Lens Dislocation: The ICL can sometimes shift out of place, requiring further surgical intervention. 7. Endothelial Cell Loss: The procedure may cause a decrease in the number of endothelial cells in the cornea, which are crucial for maintaining corneal transparency. 8. Retinal Detachment: This is a rare but serious complication where the retina separates from the back of the eye, potentially leading to vision loss. 9. Inflammation: Post-surgical inflammation is possible, which may require medication to manage. 10. Corrective Lens Power Issues: In some cases, the ICL might not provide the desired correction, leading to the need for additional procedures or glasses/contacts. 11. Need for Future Surgeries: The ICL may need to be replaced or removed in the future, depending on the patient’s eye health and vision changes over time.

I just had my femto lasik yesterday and i can attest to having an instantaneous eyesight improvement immediately and it was totally painless and without much noticeable discomfort ,however, the only downside to such life- changing procedure is how close the device comes to your face while you are lying supine and not being able to twitch a muscle so as not to disrupt the angle and everything , and so you could feel claustrophobic being in such a helpless position with that device close to you whilst you are rendered immobile.

Thats crazy how their eye was completely cloudy then bam! Such a huge change. But as someone else stated, this is NOT minimally invasive. At least it doesnt look like it.

I did this today & it was a lot worse than my expectations. They gave me a relaxing med which i barely felt the affect. First eye went smoothly but i couldn't keep my eyes open for the next. Having small eyes as an asian didn't help at all. It was too painful from the the tools they had to use to keep my eyes open. The best i can describe the experience was that it was similar to having alien abduction where you can experimented on your eyes. Prepare pain meds as I had a burning, aching sensation for the first 4 hours and couldn't open my eyes.

For anyone considering this, it's absolutely worth it, but on one condition... Your eyes need to be fully developed. Your eyes continue to deteriorate until you're roughly 25. Anytime after that, you're golden. If you get it at say, 18, there's a chance you'll need glasses again in a few years. Not a large chance, but still a chance.

Did Relex smile just 10 days ago from Thailand. Best decision ever! Still can't believe I can see far away things. But as I am in my late 30s I now have +1 power that I didn’t had before surgery. But I was notified about this before surgery and I still agreed to do it. +1 is far better than -5.5!

I had ICL 6 months ago, and whilst it is amazing and life changing, my eye had a remaining 1.0 astigmatism which makes distance blurry. I can go day by day without glasses, but the blurriness makes it difficult at work. My surgeon doesn't want to replace the lens, but rather I will get a PRK touchup in 2 months to correct it 🤞

I've done my Lasik in one of the best oftalmologic hospitals where I live. Got ghosting, glares, starbust... my vision get worse than when I've used glasses. Doctor said I was a good candidate for the surgery. It's better depend on hlasses rather than put your sight at risk like that. Don't commit the same mistake I've did! All that doctors care about is money!

You still have ghosting? When did you originally get the surgery?
@brucewayne2956
@brucewayne2956 15 дней назад
@@KBizzy I still have ghosting despiste being operated a little more than a year. And it seems it will continue that way unless I start using my glasses. I presume it is some astigmatism left that is doing that. But the glares, starbursts etc... That remains. Nothing too big but it's uncorfotable.

Contacts used to correct the halos. I'm 45 and can't drive at night anymore. I did lasik when I was 29. stopped driving at night in mid 2023. I tell people not to do lasik. I would have been better off with expensive contacts and glasses

My vision is deteriorating all the time. focus ability with glasses is perfect but the problem is that I cannot have one pair of glasses for long times because my eyesight becomes blurry and then I need to get a new pair. Would this surgery help? Would my vision still get worse every time after it, or will I see great? Also how do you treat it afterwards?
