If only some lazy hobo had his eating league ready to launch this is a great opportunity for competitors to get noticed in a new and properly formatted league.... soon!
Haha, recently I bought a discount box of peppermint oreos... I chew a few of them them into mush (for 30 seconds or so) and then spit the mush out after I'm satiated from the flavor.... Still rots the teeth, but dang it tastes good and only like 2% of the calories... ha!!
@@thelyonshare I think of this quote I once heard, it says what's the difference between successful people and unsuccessful people? Successful people are willing to do the things that unsuccessful people aren't willing to do. There's a reason you're in the backyard training. There's a reason you're doing the things you do to get ready. You got the right attitude, you got the right spirit, you got a good family thats got your back and supports you, and now you even got a brother out here in Minneapolis whos rooting for you and believes in you ✊🏼 Win or lose you're always going to be able to keep your head held high champ
Those are some unique suggestions! I haven’t heard of weetabix or tunnocks teacakes. What do you recommend a challenge with those items should look like?
@@thelyonshare I don't know, a giant bowl of Weetabix - at least a 48 pack! And teacakes - I know BeardMeatsFood did a video of 100!!!! I'm from the UK so that might be why, but if interested, I wonder how easy it would be to send you them!!?
Bob Shoudt used to chug 2 gallons of water the day of the contest to keep the stomach capacity up (don't run yourself out of electrolytes tho!) I play Tetris and always tell people I would have the world record if this was 2010.... 25 years ago you'd have the world record :P The number for this contest continues to go up every year but if I can offer any words of encouragement, it takes 2-5 years of training to get to where you are at right now, so you're ahead of the game... and another 2+ years to push yourself to that next level, you'll continue to get better as time goes on, don't be deterred!
As always, you’re right there to keep my head up! My man! Main thing I need to work on is capacity, jaw strength, and swallowing. I guess those things will just come with time. I know my stomach capacity a couple of months ago, when I started all this, was around 10.5 lbs and now it’s up to 14. Just need to keep at it. If I keep training, maybe by this time next year I’ll be breaking 40
PS I’ve seen Bob talk about his water training leading up to a contest. Talk about extreme! Dude would chug 2-2.5 gallons twice sometimes 3 times a day!
@@thelyonshare yeah, it's easy to run out of sodium and sugar if you have a clean and healthy diet (and I think choline is important too) so if doing those volume chugs daily always add a gram of salt and eat some sugars (or supplements) to make sure you don't run low on those vitals! (someone eating fast food all day shouldn't have a problem chugging water, lol)... You've learned many secrets already and have exceeded capacity and speed of 95% of those who try!
Great video! And you got to this level in only 2 months! That fact alone is already incredible. I'm rooting for you! Can't wait to see what happens next!
Thanks for providing the footage for this... I cannot believe how close Nick + Pat were, that's crazy. PS: I thought the wife was gonna throw her shoe at you! haha
I appreciate your love and support bro!🥰😘 But honestly, end game would be one day to be able to give back to these awesome little restaurants. I think the owners and people who work there are the best!🥰 Keep up the positive vibes and thanks for the comment!
@@gregtuttle9626 Thanks again for all your love and support Greggy Pooh😘 Honestly dude, I’m just doing what I love and making videos of it. People can tune in and watch or not. It’s up to them. So if you don’t like it, no one’s keeping you here. But if you’re gonna fanboy and comment on my videos, let’s at least try to keep the negativity and insults to a minimum please. Have a blessed day, buddy!👍🏻
I just subscribed recently and I cant get enough of these videos. I dont even know how I found this channel but im glad I did. Anyways keep on doing what you do brother. Im sending the good vibes your way! ✌✨
Did you ever think of changing your name on here to…….”The Lyon Eats”??? adding the RU-vid logo of course. Do it!!! Dunking is not shameful….what IS shameful is leaving a handful of whatever in the cup and not getting called out on it and being a pretty good judge of character…….that’s NOT YOU my friend…..Congrats!
I watch these habitually bc I had weight loss surgery and I live vicariously through all of you. It’s nice to see such new faces…tell your wife she did good lol!!! And sometimes ….you just have to be that lion and TEAR IT UP!. I wish you views, subs, wins and everything that is wonderful! YOU CAN DO THIS!
@FrancosFeasts and ultimately, I’d like to have enough of a following to be able to give back to these small family run restaurants. It would be nice to be able to promote some awesome businesses, but I need to grow before I can seriously do that.
You need to start weighing these dishes man! I’ll get you my scale if you need one it’s a digital doctors office scale man. I bet that pizza was like 8-9 pounds easy!
11:47 pretty sure that was his stomach.... You ate those last two slices like it was an hour long lunch break at work and you did not want to go back early!
Your not very smart eating all that poison!!! Cereals are designed to lower your testosterone among other non helpful things and on top of that your drinking pasteurized milk!!!
I seen this tower of meat in my feed and immediately went out and cooked a 16 patty (5lb) box of burgers to celebrate ... At least someone on youtube knows what day it is! (These shorts could be dual posted on IG) these are the types of visuals IG users will eat up!
@@thelyonshare nothing wrong with that man, I can really appreciate hard work. The label of “blue collar” is something that more people should strive to experience-can be very rewarding and I’m guessing you’ve learned some very useful skills at that job. Just make sure you wash your hands before a hot dog practice session or big food challenge 😂
