Yes you can use Bissell cleaning solutions. You can also use third-party cleaner solutions. If you're cleaning pet stains there are numerous liquid enzyme-type eliminators that may be useful. It's important to follow the directions on the bottle. Test the solution first on an inconspicuous area.
I know this probably isn’t what you were intending when you made this video but I just got this lawnmower and could not make heads or tails of the instruction manual but thanks to your video I was finally able to put all the pieces together. Thanks!
Awesome!! I first saw him at the Covenant Church in downtown Los Angeles (he made up a song about people there that day) and again when John Ylvisaker was being honored in Waverly Iowa. I am so glad he is in my heart and mind. Thank you Ken Medema. I listened to your audio cassette until it wore out and then later several CDs (one which I gave to a doctor who was dying of Parkinsons). I have one in the car!
I would personally find it feasible to empty the tank with the dirty water in the yard and rinse with the hose so that it would not clog any drains inside
Wish it came with the larger brush now, and the self-cleaning tool which is shown in some videos. I think it's a Canadian thing. Either way, unit looks nice
The model featured is number 3624. Mattress use would probably be tricky. There's a lot of absorption material underneath the surface or inside of the mattress. So you would want to make sure after attempting to clean, you have the mattress exposed to the open air for quite some time. You don't want moisture to get trapped inside the mattress and cause mold.
The spot cleaner comes with a small bottle of the Bissell brand cleaning solution. I purchased a large bottle of rug cleaner at my local grocery. I think just about any brand of solution will work, as long as it's for a carpet shampoo/cleaner - formulated for low suds etc. Follow the directions for the right mix ratio.
Hi. I was thinking about buying this product but I was wondering if you got all the stains out from chair or did the stains come back like weeks later due to "wicking"?
I just checked. The chair still looks clean! Kinda sad that it sat stained in the basement for 20 years but kinda great that now it's a good looking chair!
Do you know how to open up the small brush extracting attachment to clean the gunk out of it? I've looked and tried on my own and can't figure it out. Mine doesn't have the button or clip release. It's like all the stuff inside the clear plastic area that you see get immediately extracted through the handle. Thanks!
Did you figure it out? A lady has how she does it on here. After you detach the brush from the unit, look down inside and there is a plastic tab you can press to release it. I can try and find that video and add it to my reply.
Gee, I never tried to open the brush up. You might try soaking it in white vinegar or hot sudsy water. Maybe use a toothbrush to reach up and scrape out any gunk.
@@Aeromousikos Taking that piece off is pretty easy . I made a video but took it down right away because I think I talked too much, lol. I might re-do it.😊
Thanks for the video. I don’t have an area like this to worry about. I mulch some leaves and bag some and rake some. In Michigan too! Maybe try the other blades for fun for next fall.
Thank you sooo much, it just arrived last night and I have it in pieces in front of me at the moment. I was scared .......but now I’m not!! You are a very good teacher !! Many thanks xx
I think you're right. It depends on the size of the job. Maybe just a quarter tank for a single chair, which would mean you'd use 1/4 the normal cleaning solution, 1/4 the water.
I bought one early this season and I am very happy with its performance in every way. I gave away my perfectly running 15 year old Honda to someone who needed a mower. Don’t miss it at all.
I love my new BISSELL SPOT CLEAN PRO! I didn't get the pet one because this had the best reviews. I just used it on my stairs and it cleaned them so well. Now I'm ready to tackle my car. I'm amazed at how well it cleans. Bissell, need to redo your how-to videos! You didn't show empty the dirty water out. Mainly how to remove the top off. I worried I would break the handle off. I just love this little SPOT CLEAN PRO so much, It's worth the money for sure. It's so convenient and easy to use when cleaning my car. I give it the highest rating! @UCHlviKV1twx5dqvkZSWlkfw
Thank you for showing how to empty the dirty water out! I couldn't figure out how to get the lid off. I didn't want to break it, but you showed how to put the lid all the way over to get it off. Thanks again. Also it was nice to see the model I purchased.
Thank you so much for this video. I love this machine. But I didn't know the dirty water tank top came off. I've been turning all directions try to get the water out to clean it. I thought why would they make such a good machine but make it difficult to clean out the tank. Guess I should have just read all the directions first.😊
I owned this exact modle mower and it was great for cutting grass only, but horrible for mulching leaves when compared to my old gas mower. I ended up returning it for a Honda Gas mower which does a better job cutting grass and mulching leaves.
@@Aeromousikos yeah sometimes it was a bit wet. Also small dry leaves would get left behind. The only time it would mulch okay was at the lowest setting with dry leaves only. I rather not scalp the lawn so I switched back. Honda obliterates the leaves into such fine pieces, it looks like you raked them up.
WRONG! The dirty water tank doesn't hold 3x as much as the clean water tank. You obviously missed the max. FILL line clearly marked on the front of the dirty water tank and never mentioned the black "float" in the dirty water tank which prevents it over-filling. The float wont allow the dirty water tank to fill any further than 0.8L Both tanks hold 0.8L Hope this clarifies the oversight of the Uploader for other viewers :) Also, the Manual specifically states to first add water to the clean water tank, THEN add 2oz of Bissel formula. This prevents the formula from creating excess foam when filling the tank with water. Pause @4:48 to see all the foam. If he actually took the time to READ the manual he would know all this LMAO Typical consumer. Has no idea about agitation with a "Drill Brush" before extracting. He expects the Bissel to do all the work, as many do.
