RELIABLE SUPERCHARGED PERFORMANCE! Hyde Motor Works is based in Germany and offers customized, high quality and affordable supercharger setups for classic cars that are time and track proven to be a one of a kind solution. This is our official RU-vid channel where we feature our project logs, builds as well as showcase client cars and the latest products we have to offer.
You guys really need a compelling reason to go with you over the currently available superchargers. They are roughly the same price but include ALL hardware/plumbing (no "you'll also need"), the actual supercharger, and a tuning map. You're going to have a hard time selling me on your $12k-$15k "kit" when I can buy a fully bolt on $6k system and make similar or higher power numbers. Yes I realize that a root/screw boost map will allow more low end torque, but that's surely not worth $6k-$8k. If your attitude is going to be "well just don't buy it then" (like it was when I called your company), then you're going to have a hell of a time staying in business. I'm literally trying to give you my money and you are giving me nothing but reasons to take it elsewhere.
Hello, No it has nothing to do with the valvetronic system, where did you read that? Both Turbo and Supercharger has its ups and downs, there are multiple types of superchargers. Both need power to make power, the way the power is delivered is different on both systems. We cant cover that in a comment ofcourse, best you do your own research around the internet. In the end it comes down to do you want a kit that gets you another 100-150HP to these engines or not. :)
@@melihhabino this does not put any additional stress on the valvetronic. The valvetronic does not know the difference between atmospheric pressure or above atmospheric pressure. It will control torque output / engine speed, the same as it did naturally aspirated .
Just wanted to say keep doing the lords work, haha! I thought my M44 supercharger dreams were dead. Thanks for doing this work. As soon as I have my Z3 ready, it will be getting a supercharger!
We are still a few months away, Yes we ship worldwide but UK will get its own independent stocks later this year with Road Rage Tuning, so no import duties.
Hello, Yes this will work on any M60,M62 or N62 Engine. Yes it includes all hardware for you to bolt on the supercharger, the inlet outlet pipe work, inter cooler and silicone hoses and such can be sold separately. Supercharger is sold separately. You will still need your own air filter, catch can and all the basics. We provide all required to bolt on and get the superchagere running. You still require your own tune as well, road rage performance in the UK can remote tune it.
We are located world wide, this video was taken in the US last year. In Germany we are headquartered in Eschelbach - Sinsheim. Email or call us later in the day, ask for German support and we can see what we can do to help.
Are you kidding me!?! This look like a much better option than the ESS and AA supercharger kits. Man I’m glad the N52 platform is getting the love it deserves!
Those are thrown out. 🤣 You dont have thhose codes as they can be either still connected or deleted with programing. The M90 is not working, too small inside and body too large. Dont go smaller than an M122H on these motors.
The N45 is based on the N42/N46, only a few internal changes, visually the blocks are identical and the kit should be fine with that engine as well. Email us for details.
Happy I found this video, was running out of ideas from scrolling thru forums. 2011 bmw 335i w/ n55 engine. Performed oil filter housing gasket replacement, valve cover replacement, wallet blast the valves, switch out all spark plugs and boots. All over the course of about 2 weeks. After priming the oil system per bmw procedure I was getting the dreaded crank but no start issue. After much troubleshooting, found this video and after buying a cheap endoscope camera I looked at all the cylinders after removing the plugs again and cleaning them, indeed the cylinders looked dry. Used a straw to add about 5-10 mL of new engine oil to each, pulled fuse 70 to ensure the fuel pump wouldn't turn on, then with the plugs off and the cylinders open to air, cranked the car about 10 seconds. A quick endoscope look into each confirmed the cylinders looked nice and glossy covered with oil. Plugged all the spark plugs and boots back in, returned fuse 70 to its place, crossed my fingers and cranked the car and to my surprise started right up! Large white plume of gas and rough start but quickly settled down and let it run for about ten minutes to ensure all the noises I'm familiar with of the engine were normal. Thanks again!
I have a M60B40 and m122 supercharger sitting for my next project. I have been trying to figure out how to do the manifold and found you from a forum. How far are you from production?
These kits look great. But you really need to ‘show’ us how to fit these things like your talking and demonstrating it to a child. I’m so interested in doing this to my m10. I have an m10 powered e10 2002. An m10 powered e21 And a 323i e21 baur. But as much as I’d loved to try this. I couldn’t do this conversion to any as they lack the installation process that a total novice needs. Which surely is going to be 99% of your customers for this kit. We’d need a step by step guide. Including every little adjustment, and detail. If you can make a video like that. And explain exactly what we need, and show it. I think I’ll be a customer for at least one car.
I will soon be very interested in this. I’m in the process of building a replica (looking) alpina e21 It currently has a 1.8 standard carbed engine. I’ll buy a another m10 engine with the injection manifold etc. But how much should I plan to budget for this full conversion, including all parts, the kit and supercharger. Thabks
Hyde, love the colors! 🔥 It's a nice option to compliment some builds. A supercharged engine bay is deserving an extra touch of flare. You guys are killing it with all these new kits coming out!
