Travis gives us an update to our Supercharger kit made for the legendary BMW M10 Engine, found on the older E30 and BMW 2002 models as well as the BMW 1800, 1802, E12, E21, E28.
In development since 2020 by its designer and engineer, Travis Emmett from New South Wales, Australia. This kit uses the Eaton M45 Supercharger (M65 Mercedes variant), with future plans to support superchargers such as the SC14, Eaton M62 and Rotrex C38.
The BMW M10 Engine has a history to it for setting records in the racing world in mid 20th century. It was the base from which BMW Built the M12 used in Formula 1, known for making a maximum of 1400 HP.

Very Cool! looks very well built. Why would someone want a S/C for the M10 over a turbo, it seems the M10 would be more suited toward turbocharging over supercharging. but IDK thats why I'm asking. 🙃

Very interesting. I’m currently building a e10 2002 as my daily driver. More Hp would be a great improvement. What is the cost of this kit please. However I think I’d prefer the mini super charger. So that it’s all in the same family as it were.

Its for the M10, it wont fit the M40 unfortunately.

Any updates. I'm about to rebuild my m10. I need to decide on compression ratio depending on supercharging or not.

Its complete and we have a new updated video on the Dyno coming in a few weeks. :) Feel free to email us. Some kits are actually in stock also.

Thanks @@HydeMotorWorks . That's great news! Will the Dyno be of it in a car or on a stand? I'm anxious to see how it fits in the engine bay and need to see that before considering ordering. .. worried about fit with brake booster, etc.

You are welcome, @@JohnQuillen :) The Dyno will be on the car itself on whats called the "Heartbraker" / Mustang style dyno, meaning no false corrected numbers. Pure raw rear wheel power, we should also be able to show the stock power before and after. If you want, you can drop us an email later, and we can also put you through with the designer here, Travis who can answer questions directly.

How much hp can be expected with this?

This setup is rated to push your stock M10 engine to its max power, technically if the engine can hold the power (perhaps you may want to build it with a better head gasket) you can expect double the HP output, for stock engines, you can also lower the boost with a boost controller.

Please let the public know if you’re looking for people to help in testing, I would love to support development in a street and light track environment 👍🏻
