Thanks for the video! I was going to go the opposite of your set up. This made me realize I need the squadron pros up front on the bumper to get that clear line of sight ahead. Appreciate that.
@@RepublicofDentlovOfficial all just camera angle, made it look a lot more steep! I’ll show you how to do it next time I see you! Hope you are doing good, we miss ya!
Just wanted to give you a shoutout. We saw your jeep at Youngs Dairy on the 17th. Your jeep was both my son and my favorite. It looks like a well-done build.
Cannot Wait To See You Guys At Wildcat This Thursday! If you guys are there or not. (note: this is Jacob Seever writing this comment, and your video is absolutely amazing. Love The Gladiator!!!)
If your pitching or working baits where rod tip is close to the water or fishing from shore then you may have some issues but not bad. If that stuff doesn’t necessarily apply to you then I definitely wouldn’t worry about it and would pick one up! I’m only 5’8” and works well for me.
I guess you’re insinuating that my pops helped me… he was filming for me, where in the video is he telling me what to do?. He does all my filming for me and we off-road all over the US for a living. Check the channel out before you feel like you know stuff you don’t lol.
It looks like the Lew's Xfinity 🧐 what is the difference 8 ball bearing system and has the same frame on it and price point close. The handle grips is like the lzr or Lazer ⁉️ change one thing and is a hole new rod and reel combo are you shor about that Lew's ❓ I like the Lew's brand and have enough of them.
I’m not too familiar with the Xfinity but I do believe it’s a Walmart specific combo so maybe it’s just barely different to be just slightly cheaper in price
My kayak flipped over in the high position 59 degree water . I leaned over for my anchor next thing you know i was in the water 20 min before i got out . its not as sturdy as you think
Sorry to hear that. It is as sturdy as I think. I know what it takes to tip it as I’v spent 100s of hours in it. Maybe it’s not as study as you think lol.
Ohh there are some people out there who are trying to take the trails away from us. They fail to see the good we do for these areas. Little bit of rubber on a rock never hurt anybody/anything.
I’ve been looking at this combo because I’m a sucker for the color scheme but I’m stuck between it and a St. Croix Bass X with a Shimano SLX XT. I think the profishciency looks sick but I think the St. Croix/Shimano rig might be better overall.
Thank you so much, both of mine went out at the same time so I couldn’t figure out why they stopped working but your video helped explained it, also instead of replacing them I just heated up the plastic spring and formed it back to normal so now it works again👍
You speak fine, just want to make sure giving you best answer possible. The rod is rated the use anything from 3/8-1 oz. You could probably get away with just over 1 oz but I wouldn’t go much heavier than that.
Personally I don’t typically wear one in my kayak where I live I just have to have one in the kayak but if I am wearing it, I wear an old wakeboarding lifejacket. You could try the lifejackets that are flush and don’t inflate until you hit the water would be the best option I can think of.
Great video! Yea I was looking online and was like how exy$$ the LP4s are for the size. Well, totally blown away by the light in this review. Yea how crazy would the large ones be! 😂
The amount of light they put out is crazy; in person they are even more impressive! And right lol I can’t imagine the amount of light from the larger models🤯
Great review. I’m considering buying the SS107. How does it paddle? I have a Lifetime Yukon Angler which I do like but it paddles like a barge. The Yukon is wide and stable but it pushes a lot of water. I’m looking for something that paddles and tracks well. How does the SS107 handle? Thanks!
Thank you! Iv been in a couple of 10’ kayaks and this so far paddles and tracks the best when it come to sit-on-tops that I’v tried. The pontoon style haul keeps it quite high on the water thus making it not push much water. It’s for sure not a “fast” kayak but if you put the seat in the lower position if moves pretty well! The biggest issue I have found with the ss107 is since the seat is so high and it sits so high in the water, the wind does like to take you for a good little drift; but that high seat is AMAZING. If you looking for something that tracks better maybe look at the RS117, RVR119 or the SS127. But I do believe the SS107 for the money is a GREAT fishing kayak. Hope this helps.
It comes with everything you see on their website. Don’t think it includes the bolt. We already had an A Pilar light on before so used the previous mount. You may just be able to use original bolt from the cowl piece though.
The whole reason I bought my gladiator was for fun. It's not because it's a real truck, or an amazing overlander. I personally think the bob looks super cool. I had a scramber that I bobbed years ago, and it also looked super cool. If I wanted a bed that over hung, or a real overland rig, I would buy a fullsize pickup with a dana 60 front axle and a fuel tank that will go for 700 miles between fill ups. Plus I could sleep in the bed under a shell, and not need a roof top tent(they suck). To me, this bobbed bed is about the coolest thing you can do to a Gladiator, and it's not just another wrangler with a lift and tires. I also really like the stock bed bobbed way better then the aftermarket bobbed bed that is available. You guys did a good job and I hope you enjoy driving that thing around. Maybe someday I will get my bed bobbed too.
You sir absolutely get it! It’s nice to get acknowledge by someone who has knowledge. Appreciate the kind words and thank you for watching 🤘🏼 Good luck with your build!
