This rod definitely has a unique look, and that draws a lot of attention to the rod. I do feel it’s a fair priced rod for what all you are getting for 180$. I do enjoy the reel quite well. The rod performs great with crank baits, chatterbaits, lipless, some jerk baits but I just wasn’t impressed with many bottom style baits such as texas and jigs. Felt it was a little difficult to really feel out the bottom and structure.

I’ve been looking at this combo because I’m a sucker for the color scheme but I’m stuck between it and a St. Croix Bass X with a Shimano SLX XT. I think the profishciency looks sick but I think the St. Croix/Shimano rig might be better overall.

Yeah the color scheme is what got me to buy it lol. Personally I’d get the St. Croix with the Shimano. Will for sure out perform the Profishiency IMO.

Thanks for that video brother! Do you have any recomendations when it comes to heavy lure fishing, like rods and reel? Im talking about 30-100g lures. My budget would be around 400 for a rod and reel

If your pitching or working baits where rod tip is close to the water or fishing from shore then you may have some issues but not bad. If that stuff doesn’t necessarily apply to you then I definitely wouldn’t worry about it and would pick one up! I’m only 5’8” and works well for me.

You speak fine, just want to make sure giving you best answer possible. The rod is rated the use anything from 3/8-1 oz. You could probably get away with just over 1 oz but I wouldn’t go much heavier than that.

I’d stick to about the same for the reel as well
