I literally got on MCC after a year or 2 and was just messing around looking what the game had to offer, started browsing custom lobbies and saw “jump” clicked on it and was absolutely blown away at how easy some people made it look. Had no idea this even existed
God bless man, really awesome video. Watched just about every ghost jumping video that was left on youtube in early 2023 with my friend, hoping to learn how to ghost on Guardian, but they were more setup videos, and not actually explaining the mechanics. This was super helpful, perhaps if you make more, or make map specific videos could you have a button press overlay for timing specifics?

My explanation in the video was kinda vague even with the example so yea I can understand this. 1. (Feels Good / Aim) Line your self up with the sling at an angle that works for you and feels sticky when you jump into it. Make sure align your self (aim) so that you come out of the sling like in video. Either looking left or right. 2. (Patience) When you jump into a sling just walk on it for a second, this is so you aren’t instantly pushing your self out when you jump again. You can walk on a sling for much longer than you think. 3. (Timing) The longer you walk on a sling, the later you will come out of it, allowing you to hit your next jump at the right angle (when needed) if you walk on a sling for a short amount of time you may shoot out of it or jump higher depending on the angle you jumped into it and how you were aiming. 4. (Chaining) Practice the first three steps, and figure out the rhythm of the set slings. No set of slings are built completely the same so timing maybe different between them. This means you’ll either need to jump early or late like I talked about in step three.
After hopping into Halo 3 today and trying to ghost jump, I can appreciate how hard this is. I finally was able to get the corner one but the ones that are on the side of a face, I can't chain em and go up the wall
Great stuff! Something that always helped me is referencing what part of YOU, you want to hit the Ghost or Sling. In H3 its usually your shoulder/ chest area, and in H2 it's your knees/ shins. Love H3 jumps and these courses keep getting crazier. Great showcase of all the different techniques! SUBBED!

Framerate can make certain footghosts unusable or feel different but that’s usually only for vanilla maps like guardian gay jump to 2nd blue window for example. But higher framerate makes ghosting easier along with aiming and cleanliness and lack of input delay usually will help u increase your abilities

Respect for the Marvin cameo for managing to be AFK even in the intro btw Wish this vid was released 8 months ago when I was an android infant simpleton because this is very useful. more tutorials for various other jumping tech like squashes and slides would be much appreciated 💯💯
A memory leak is a mistake in the program itself caused by the developer. It happens when memory is allocated by the program but is never freed. How does an external program fix a problem with another? Seems unlikely!
