My name's Jessica, and I'm a big nintendo fangirl so I'm planning on regularly making shorts about some of my favorites, like Pikmin, Kirby, Chibi-Robo, Super Monkey Ball (ik it's SEGA) and just the general stuff. I think it is just the current time. I mean think about it, how often does the average ant that lives in nature encounter a human? Probably not very often. I think we just never happen to encounter one. Like the house in Pikmin 4, we probably just go there when the house owner is at work. That explains why they're never there. During the day they're at work and during the night they're sleeping, so we never see them. Especially since most if the areas are in nature, the humans just don't really go there all that often. Besides, the time we spend on the planet is never very long. It would be a lot more likely that we would find one, if we stayed for longer.

The Smokey Progg is thought to be a malformed larva mamuta. And it is. Makes sense, breaking open its egg, makes a toxic creature of death, where as fully developed, makes a life- giving creature of earth. Reach the distant spring before day 15/16 in pikmin 1 to fight it the very first time. Be warned, a very endurant creature. But defeating it gives a seed pod to the onion to make 100 pikmin on the spot.
I assume he is a rogue enemy, joining the mario crew to steal more i suppose, he probably went rogue and stole bowser JR’s mask and he is only there to steal things from the mario crew.
I'm sure you probably already knew this, but after you enter the cave in the formidable oak, every day following it is forced to be rainy! I haven't checked if it's only in the formidable oak or if it's everywhere, but the pikmin wiki JUST says that the day will be forced to be rainy "if the cave in the formidable oak has been entered"
