The GREAT Greg Hawkes is absolutely BURIED! Where is his incredible solo in this mix? He is barely audible, then the mixer slides him up just a bit to semi-audible.

Who's mixing the vocals. Can't hear anyones voice. Still, it's great to see all these people in the same room. That's not likely to happen again for my generation (Zevon, Petty and Harrison already gone). Another thought. While Clapton and for that matter Knofler can play lead in their sleep I don't always get the feeling that they're excited about the moment they're in. Young on the other hand seems wired 24/7. He's playing is more emotional, more evocative - it draws you into his energy.
Rehearsal is one thing and bad recording is another. One can barely hear George, Eric or Neil singing. Go figure what happened to the sound engineer, was he also high?
