Am I the only one who found lerix to be really condescending and also manipulative in the way he talks? It was pretty annoying to listen to him, he may have had some points but it felt like he actually really doesn't want to let it go. I think Eathen is wrong but he is onto something about the modern art thing. At least I feel like there is the splatter painting are cool in my opinion and they are esthetically pleasing to look at I like the idea that the rules where just thrown out. Sure, he was tough on you, but not unreasonably so. He called you out for changing your story from a “misclick” to a “lapse in judgment,” among other things, but this was the worst possible response, especially if this drama is done and dusted. Stirring the pot with bully streams will only make things worse. Just log off, spend time in the real world, and maybe then come back to RU-vid

Yeah, leaking calls isnt always bad, leaking a call that is trying to help you because you literally told your friend that you have a mental illness thats putting you in financial stress is gay, more so when you realize that bowblax thought Lerix seemed bad in it
Actually, I don't think your impulse to explain has anything to do with autism. Everyone has that. Everyone thinks, man, if only other people knew this detail--or, it's not really my fault, it's because of this other thing--and wants to preface apologies with those mitigations of their own actions. This is because every time ANYONE does ANYTHING wrong, there are details of the situation that mitigate our own fault. It is part of becoming an adult to learn that excuses and explanations make you look worse, not better. Let's say that you are always late to get-togethers with your friends. The first time, you spilled coffee all over yourself and had to completely change your clothes before leaving the house. The next time, you caught every red light on the way to the meeting place. The third time, you slept through your alarm. Sure, all of these are different reasons for being late. You aren't being late on purpose. And you may want to explain yourself every time to show that you care about other people, that you aren't being late because you want to make them wait. But from anyone's perspective but yours, what matters is that you are late every time, not the individual reasons for it. No matter the outside reasons, you keep failing to appear in a timely manner, while no one else does. The reasons don't matter--the outcomes do. As an adult, there are two necessary components to apologies: one, you cannot give lengthy explanations to justify your actions; two, you must CHANGE THE BEHAVIOR. Maybe you do keep getting into freak situations that make you late that none of your friends experience. But you are dismissing the impact your lack of timeliness has on their lives by shifting the blame. Drink your coffee before getting dressed so spilling won't make you take extra time changing. Leave extra early so you have time to wait in all of the red lights. Set five alarms. You CAN change your behavior. And you have to in order for your apology to mean anything. So stop explaining why you failed your friends this time and that time and why they are just misunderstanding you on this or that word and instead change your lifestyle so that these failures will stop happening. Because I'm trying to grasp the whole goofy thing, I tried summarizing this. Please let me know if there's something big I'm missing: KoN tweet was made, not the biggest deal, but it struck some people as weird since Bowbie is bros with Nick and seemed like it was a jab at him. Lerix points out what he considers Josh's sketchy behavior with his homies, goes over past behaviors up to 4 yrs ago, Josh thinks it's bad faith because it's stuff he considers done and spoken for. He then has a convo with Josh on a private call that Josh records and puts out without asking- the worst move Josh made that helps Lerix's arguments of him being sketch. Lerix tried explaining why he was sus of Josh and why his past explanations and apologies didn’t add up for him, but Josh believes he's already explained enough. Toastify shares his frustrations of Josh with Lerix and Josh continues to tweet about Lerix being a bad dude. Lerix keeps streaming everything non-stop, aggravating Josh further. More back-and-forth. The Lerix streams should've been cut up to the highlights or parts mentioning Bowblax imo, or maybe a live commentary/reactions by Josh over the streams. To Josh, if you read this: I know it's fun and part of your brand and personality to tweet crazy stuff or whenever you have the urge, but I suggest you run it by someone you trust before impulsively putting things out there, at least to help reword things so they aren't painting your intentions in what others perceive as disingenuous or sometimes malicious. Also, run your streams about more controversial things by your trusted homies first before making things look worse (which many people are saying you went forward with this stream despite your bros warning you not to). It doesn't sound like you are trying to be malicious, but Twitter and impulsiveness do NOT mix well. I had to put a cap on myself years ago when I was getting sick of family's political shite on FB before deciding that it was better to just not be on there at all. I'm dodging Twitter at all cost cuz it seems like a bottomless pit of despair, but if you wanna make more Twitter content, it would be wise to practice more prudence (i.e. knowing when and when not to do something) before becoming a drama on Twitter yourself. It is hard at times for people on the specrtum to understand different nuance without fully experiencing something someone else has first, be patient with yourself. I feel bad for you for the situation you're in right now, but many people don’t understand what you're going through and most don’t care, just how things are. Just be careful how you put yourself out there and trying to be more empathetic to understand others' POVs, even if you ultimately don’t agree with them. Your summary is correct except for the leaking of the call. I suggested showing it to people and ended up not doing it. I sent the link to smaggle for him to watch and to get feedback. Then I heard a bunch of people watched it without me later that night. I was as you're suggesting I do, running this by my friends. I sent this stream by people yesterday morning hours before the live that night. Smaggle said it was good. So I went ahead with the stream

This whole thing is a huge mess and it could have been avoided. IMO there are a whole lot of people who share the blame for this thing blowing up. Josh has some blame in this by taping Lerix's discord call. I do belive him when Josh says that there wasn't any ill intent behind the action, and Lerix was trying to help you. Josh also put Nicholas DeOrio in a bad position. I don't know what "lie" Josh allegedly told Nick 3 months ago, but whatever it was shouldn't destroy the friendship. Finally, IMO Josh should have listened to his friends and not do this video (which put gasoline on the fires). Something seems to be going on behind the scenes with Josh and he needs to work it out before he destroys his entire internet career. Lerix, Toastify, and Smaggle also have a role in all of this. The coverage of Nick critizing Josh over the KingofNothing thing was fair game. Bringing up the Sonic "meltdown" stream from four years ago was not fair game. If that stream happened recently, that would have been reasonable to talk about that. Lerix streamed about Josh every day this week and included old drama. One final message to Josh. Listen to what your friends are telling you and fix this situation. Apologize for your role in what happened (the others should apologize for their roles in this). In any event this needs to be fixed.
@@biospark4758 Yeah old drama can be brought up depending on the circumstances. For example, the Instagram Wake-Up debacle is something that Josh can be critized for. Bringing up the Mario meltdown stream is not fair game because the clear intent was to embarass Josh. Also, notice how Nick has handled this. He did ONE stream to express his feelings, then he said that he won't be talking about it again unless he is provoked. Lerix continues to stream on the topic like he needs rent money. That is a problem.
