I have an image of a football player stretching out to snag a pass. I want to make a dispersion effect that looks like he's bursting into the sky. Any suggestions on the brush settings for that?
Not sure why my photoshop don''t look the same. In the 3D properties panel where I can change the shine/reflection on the text bevels the same options dont appear. I have glow instead.
Would be amazing if you would do an updated tutorial on this with how much PS cc 2021 has changed since you've posted this. This is literally the perfect effect I need. Please update, pretty please.
Hello, my question is about the FIAT logo, I do everything as described, I get to the addition of Roudned rectangle with Subtract pressed and then the manipulation with Free transform, but after I press Bevel and emboss I only get the oval
it's hard to find on RU-vid tutorials like this, showing how to create those incredible movie text effects we see in Marvel and other studios! thank you, +1 subscriber ;)
How do you enable the shape properties? whenever I create a shape I have no idea where to find the shapes properties, They are not on the right by the colors or anywhere.
It's curious we can't either set from AI or import into Dimension. This is a really nice tutorial! Excellent mix of using Dim and PSD together. In the old days, there was a way cool app called Pixar Typestry, that could do amazing stuff w/ type.
When I do what you say and click OK it returns as the others have said with an empty untextured layer It appears as though it's working but Something isn't right. You must have left something out because I didn't get the same results as you after doing it exactly like you did in the video
Great video! I'm just now learning all the possibilities of 3d in photoshop. Good tuts like this are hard to find! Layered 3d text with different materials would be a great tutorial too!
Hi Corey, I noticed you placed the image of the dancer on the material surface by drag and drop, my dimension won't let me do it, what file type is the dancer image and mask?
Love to watch you work your magic (even though it makes me a bit jittery ;). Okay, so everyone has an opinion and of course, I have mine. Considering all this high-tech, expensive 3d software, I would think that the texture mapping on the "plane" would be much more defined - appears rather flat to my eyes. Just saying..............
I was searching a lot for photoshop 3d and accidently found this channel. This is awesome. Don't know why it's so underrated. Keep up the good and best wishes
