American Prize (2023) and Four-time Telly Award winners (Gold, Silver & Bronze, 2021 - 2023), composer Emil Adler, writer Julie Flanders and vocalist Marina Belica of October Project are award-winning, genre-defying recording artists and producers who collaborate in the creation of musical recordings and events.
Powered by Flanders’ words, Adler’s music, and the group’s trademark harmonies, their earlier work with SONY/Epic and subsequent recordings on their October Project Music label have been enjoyed by millions. Bridging the worlds of pop, classical, a cappella and choral, they continue to innovate the landscape of Independent Music.
The Ghost of Childhood (2024), a full-length co-produced by Adler and Julian Coryell, features lead vocalist Belica in close harmony with Flanders, with and touches of brass, strings and spoken word throughout. Music videos "Angels in the Garden" (Silver Telly 2024) and "This Is For You” feature the work of Ukrainian Sand Artist Kseniya Simonova.

It's my favorite pop rock band of all time, hugs from Brazil we love you and we hope you are all well. I made a tribute on my channel. And may you come to Brazil one day hahaha.😁😄✌
I’m a tough, big, full white bearded 52 year old dude, full of tattoos, and holes. I can’t listen to your music without crying! Good Lord! This brings out the emotional polars!
Back in collage, my buddy had to use our wash machine, my wife and I were gone, so he just used it. In place was a promo copy of your first album, 💿 “CD.” I’m a punk rock, gone hippie during that time. My guilty pleasure your first two albums. I know them word, for word, and while alone can really do all the songs major justice by singing them at the top of my lungs!
Its been 30+ years, band dissolution, countless false starts, and the cynics out there (like myself) saying 'You can only capture that lightning in a bottle' so many times. Am SO glad to be proven wrong ( from the tracks I've heard so far) Welcome back, Emil, Julie, Marina, and any of the other personnel playing. Don't think I need to say its been FAR too long. Now: where can I buy a PHYSICAL copy of this CD? October Project Lives!
I clung to this song like a life preserver during the darkest days of my life. Listening to it four years later, it takes me right back to those events and feelings, softened now by time.
I’ve loved OP since the beginning, many years ago. It is coincidental that I played them a couple months ago and now new music is coming. That’s very exciting!! 🎉❤
I’ve been in love with this song since Uncovered. And I know you are holding more 💎💎 up your sleeves, aren’t you??? Does anyone else feel that October Project is the soundtrack of their life? It’s like mind boggling synchronicity for me. It has been from the very beginning. Thank you Julie and Emil. 💛💛 Love you, Marina! 💛
Jeez... I'm in love with that voice... Never heard of this band until now.... Must research them! Reminds me of a softer version of the band Mission jupiter 💖✌️
Hearing Julie’s new composition is a feast for my ears and soul! I’m elated to hear new OP! And it’s a rare tune written primarily in second person, joining a very short list that includes Carly Simon’s You’re So Vain, Billy Joel’s Captain Jack and Robert Palmer’s Addicted to Love.
