Hello! I'm a blogger and reviewer who finally decided to try out vlogging after 5 years of writing on the Internet. My main passions include talking about anime, manga, light novels, and collecting. I’m also a huge BTS and K-pop fan! Half-Korean. 24 years old.
Finally found someone who is as crazy as me lol. I spend several hundreds of dollars every month with Evangelion hauls from Japan. I need help. I somehow found the Evangelion Chronicles Illustrations, both versions, one with Asuka and one with Rei on the cover, factory sealed. Not only that, additionally I also got the Asuka limited edition of the book with a chrome background instead of white, also factory sealed. I couldn't believe how gigantic these books are, btw!
I've been meaning to watch A Letter to Momo! I'll have to watch it soon. Panda go Panda has also been on my watch list for a while. I just need time to go through them.
I kinda wish there was Sailor Moon: Beginnings, an anime prequel series that focuses on the Sailor Scouts when they were kids. If that were to happen, I want the series to start with the Sailor Scouts (And Sailor Moon herself), when they were babies, and throughout the series, I want to see them grow up, and I want the series to end with Sailor Moon as a 14 year old, and Sailor Venus as a 14 year old, leading up to the events of Sailor Moon.
Glad to see someone talking about A Letter to Momo and Summer Days with Coo, both fantastic movies which I never hear anyone talk about. Panda! Go Panda! is adorable as well, I think you'll enjoy it. Recent viewer and subscriber btw but keep up the good work! I haven't gone through all your videos so not sure if you've seen it or own it but I have a feeling you'd like the movie, The House of the Lost on the Cape, a fairly recent movie. Lonely Castle in the Mirror which you mentioned as well is another great movie, probably my second favourite movie from the director after Summer Days with Coo with Miss Hokusai being my third favourite. I enjoyed Birthday Wonderland as well but I'm yet to see Colourful.
i hope a official english physical release of anthem of the hearts releases one day. i love the movie and i hope to own it physically one day. its nice to know that the japanese blu ray has english subtitles, so i hope i can find a affordable import one day.
Crystal got the "when we have time" treatment from Toei. It took over 10 years for them to finish five seasons of Crystal. I was in my 30's when it started and now I'm in my late forties. LOL. Ridiculous!. Season 1 and 2 were beautiful, in my opinion (blu ray fixed up bad drawings), although it still had some mistakes and some plot changes that were not necessary. The emotion and music were done very well. Season 3 had some of the worst transformations and sound effects. Also the mouths in season three made it look like they had no teeth and the white spots in their hair made it look like they all had bubble gum hair. Then, the movies, lord help me, the transformations didn't get any better, but whatever. I am excited for the cosmos movies coming out soon. I've been watching Sailormoon since 1996 and I honestly hope THIS IS IT. Let it rest, be done! It was a fun ride.
You make me want to read more Greek Mythology. I used to in High School, so I should really get back into it. I also need to read Sue Lynn Tan's books, they look stunning.
College got me especially hooked on Greek myth. And Sue Lynn Tan has become a favorite of mine! She only has the Celestial Kingdom duology right now, but a stand-alone novel is coming in a year or two. 😙
Dude my family has stopped overall collecting dvds because of the modern age internet and all the free websites you can use to watched shows, but I will say I love the feeling of buying a piece of work and owning it. Thanks for posting I hope for more 💕
My family has pretty much turned to the same; I’m like our lone outpost at the edge of the physical media world 😭 Happy to be able to make entertaining content for you!
SO happy you're picking up more BL! Nagisa Furuya is definitely one of the best artists out there. I wasn't the biggest fan of What the Stars Know, but mostly because I wanted more.
If you end up liking Until I Meet My Husband, I definitely recommend picking up the novel version too since it goes into a lot more detail about everything. I've honestly never had a book make me wanna cry so much though, some parts are just truly heartbreaking
I heard the novel was brilliant and very candid. Hoping to check out this manga soon and report back on it. Even reading this comment is making me emotional 🥺
I was still a full time skater during the release of Yuri on Ice. It made me more obsessed about my own sport. The emotions experienced on ice were rather accurately expressed in the anime. I ended up cosplaying Yurio which comprised of just wearing my skating attire (I had to refrain from taking my actual skates to the cons since they had sharp blades 😂) Love the series and I'm gutted it's cancelled.
I’m happy the accuracy scored points with you, a real skater! (OMG!) I miss seeing the YOI cosplay boom at cons. Each year, I get so close to cosplaying Yuuri with his blue jacket, but idk why I hesitate. I’m sure walking around as Yurio would’ve felt so cool 🐱 It really is a shame what happened, but at least we have our memories as fans-those nobody can take away!
Hey there, thank you for the upload :) It is quite late for me so I will watch the video again in the future when I have more time to admire the details. It is really mindblowing how much work goes into these scetches alone. I am still thinking about getting the pair myself, maybe if I go to japan next year. I have to admit that I still have to look through 2 groundwork books myeself before then.
Of course, glad I could help! With the yen so weak right now, I’d be tempted to import any JP art books, CDs, merch, etc. while you can. Of course, it’s likely not going to skyrocket anytime soon. And you’re going to Japan next year, that’s awesome!! I might try to plan a 2025 spring/summer trip myself since it seems like it’ll be a great time to go. There’s always so much to see, so much to explore (and shop for, haha). You’ll have a wonderful time!
@@takuto2512True. I just checked, both books with shipping and import tax would end up at 100usd for me. Still quite expensive so I have to let them be for now. But I was lucky yesterday I got the last Eva Color Artbook that I was missing for my collection "Evangelion Chronicle Illustrations", even the 2011 revised editition. And a few days earlyer a radio eva Rei v2 figure for very cheap :) Really happy about that.
I literally knew I bought the JP DVD so idk why I kept saying BLU-RAY 🙃 probably because I haul mostly anime BDs, but still! Let that correction be known!
