When you get into more difficult pieces, it is easier to memorize because you spent more time on that specific section. For example even the 30-minute long Liszt Sonata in B minor, I was able to memorize immediately after I finished learning it.
You’re right, bro. You don’t SEE emotion; you FEEL it. I definitely felt it while playing. If I were in your position, I’d feel the same way because the true essence of harmony, especially on an acoustic piano, is different in reality compared to virtually viewing/hearing it. Perhaps it may have seemed artificial and didn’t resonate as intended. I appreciate your feedback.
I took piano lessons for 3 years. I love music so much. Thank you for sharing your beautiful gift/ talent that Jesus Christ bestowed on you. You play magnificently!!! ☺️👏
This is one of my favorite arrangements of Lionel's(MusicalBasics/We Are One). I'm sure he would be honored to hear how beautifully you've played it 👍.
I love these pieces combined together! It is from Lionel' s MusicalBasics/ We are One. ❤ Lionel Yu really improvised the two pieces so beautifully together, with his musical skills! You played it really well here, too Danny.
