In the beginning, Dastan lost everything and everyone. However, in the end, Dastan got everything and everyone back…as if he never lost them to begin with. 😉
I absolutely loved this movie. ESPECIALLY since I played the game. The ending to the game was phenomenal too, I felt. Please please please please make a sequel
Both the Sands of Time game and film have the same energy and charm of the original Mummy Just a classic action/adventure B. movie for all ages It has romance, witty banter, corny dialogue and humor, and the acting just hits this sweet spot of being great without taking itself too seriously and just overall endearing
amazing movie and lovely music score, but I have a few doubts regarding the plot. 1. Tamina said that if the Sandglass is broken, the world would be engulfed in a sandstorm. We saw a glimpse of it , but instead of destruction ,we see Dastan being transported back to the time when he took the dagger from the royal guard. How so? 2. When piercing the Sandglass, both Nizam and Dastan held the dagger hilt. So why is it that when Dastan confronts Nizam at the end,the Nizam does not remember the events that occurred before and only Dastan has the memory of everything(with which he persuades his brothers that the Nizam is evil)?
What I like about this movie is how Dastan and his brothers relationship goes, the movie let the "older brother have jealousy of younger/step brother" troops, no, they are very supportive to Dastan and even trust him well which is wholesome.
Actually, Iranians look exactly like the actors from this movie. The only thing that is not accurate is the clothes and Armour etc... Persians weren't wearing a turban. they're different from middle easterns. Like if you take Rohan or Troy as representation of persians, then it would be more accurate than this lol.
