Jetson is on a mission to define the future of air mobility and transportation. Our innovative eVTOL vehicles will move the ground based transportation up in the air democratizing flight. We are enabling new and exciting ways of travel which will solve many problems, ultimately making our cities a much better place to live. We are committed to making this a reality.
Wow. Power goes down so fast. I believe you can market this as a rich man's escape vehicle on top of their castle. You know if the peasants come or,.. zombies etc.
Many seemingly useless yet very cool "things" were blew off by some as useless and yet one of those seemingly useless things spawned the flight of humanity just a few generations ago. Jetson 1 certainly isn't that foundational, though the possibilities it opens is quite intriguing.
This could have been part of a life saving solution for one elderly person in particular who was stuck in the middle of a torrent in the recent flood in North Carolina clinging desperately to a branch for hours and eventually let go from exhaustion and died.
It's a nice toy. Although, with the field just being hayed, it looks more like a flying lawn mower! It is proving the concept. The downside it the flight time. Also, as many have noted, the blades are not shrouded which could be a major safety issue. It shows promise, though.
Restam apenas algumas perguntas a serem respondidas: qual é a altitude? Qual é a altitude máxima? Quanto tempo leva para carregar as baterias? Qual é a capacidade de carga? E o mais importante, qual é a durabilidade dos motores?
very nice already. maybe you can make a tricopter and you have a more natural looking and flight pattern. it looks like a scorpion and with the prop in the back it pushes your nose into turns. nicer than this box appearance.
Noisy, windy, limited flight time and range, and exposed blades. I mean, we've made a lot of progress with this kind of stuff since I was watching "That's Incredible!" in the early eighties, where they covered some kind of maneuverable thing that a single man could ride in for a few minutes. But we're still nowhere near the flying vehicles of "Back to the Future" or "Star Wars" or "The Jetsons." I hope that someday someone invents some kind of field propulsion system that can manipulate gravity or acceleration fields, because our current technologies are too limiting. Until then, we'll just do the best we can with what we have, I guess.
Has anyone seen this fly at an altitude of 100 feet or more? If it has only a 10 minute flight time surely they can take it up that high for 40 seconds.
I can easily see something like this being modified for sea rescue. Helicopters and planes can't land in rough seas and take off. This has the potential to do just that.
