Hey Ricardo... my 03 DF60/DF70 manual says 4.8 L is require to fill the oil when using a new filter. Is there really that big of a capacity difference between the these years? Thanks.
Hey ya!. Hows it? 2 very different blocks hey, df 70 its a heavy duty one. Might take the 4.8L not the DF60 thou. Better confirm that. Which one is yours?
Olá. Eu em velocidade normal andava nas 4000rpm, 5000 nunca. Se eu metesse o motor acima o 70 suzuki já pesa mais 50kg cada um, o barco não ficaria equilibrado. Além de que tive vários problemas com suzuki ainda novos. Nunca mais compro. Tenho yamaha há 6 anos e nunca tive problemas. Abraço
Hi Ricardo.. my question is I have a 2006 Yamaha TXR 115 outboard engine and I don't see the speedo tube coming out the lower unit like most engines on RU-vid so I can replace my water pump impeller.. is it possible it never got reconnected and that's the reason I don't have a reading at my speed gauge? Any help will be appreciated.
Have a brand new DF250 SS with 25 hours. I use it primarily in saltwater and flush thoroughly with fresh water using the flush port and muffs. I also use Salt Away intermittently. When should I do my first inspection?
Hey mate hows it? I would do one service now. Then start at the 100h interval. Just because when breaking the engine it releases metal bits the first few hours of use. Check with your local guy as well to see what he thinks. Cheers
There is another anode under the waterjacket cover on the engine block right next to the other two that have external access, why does no one talk about this one?
please help. Suzuki DF40 2007 Check Engine lamp flashes 3-1 times or 1-3. What does he want to tell me? Where is the problem? Help me ! pls :) cuts out and smells like gasoline :(
Hi Mate, hows it? Might be the Idle air control (IAC) valve, check the suzuki fault codes i think it might be that one. Smelling of petrol is another clue of that.
