Wallace Shawn is Woody's spirit animal. Weak, schlubby, hunched over and bald, he's a drip, a spectator in life without any real character or courage. He's a weasel. He worms his way into things and hopes he isn't seen maneuvering and manipulating. He lies, tells half truths and is always needy and living in self doubt. This is the anti-hero, the basement dwelling half wit. When this kind of sensitive nobody came along and got air time, it was the downfall of man.
@@peterworsley live action. I bought the DVD off of FYE. The live action movie is told as a mixture of the time when they were in school together and as adults. It's a fun watch
Lara Parker hated police! She wrote badly of them in her novel ( The Salem Branch). She had them out to be goons who try to deny people their constitutional rights -- like the right to assembly!
I met Jonathan Frid at ShadowCon in 1985. I went through the autograph line. He flirted with me. My girlfriend was impressed. She said, "Oh, he liked you!" I still have the photo he signed, in pristine condition. He wrote Keep to the Shadows... he was a gentleman...
Really? Well it’s certainly similar to Nabokov’s book Lolita with a much more reasonable and real ending. Where he goes on with his life she writes about her experience with him , doesn’t get married or have any kind of real story after him. But he sends her a letter that tells her he is married , has children like Chinese men usually did back then, she returns to America and writes her book until old age. And also she is kind of called a whore who ‘sells her body to a Chinaman… the girl I watched this with loved quoting that to me.
Man O Man I was fanatical about this show from ‘68 to its last episode. I recently streamed some episodes and found that Jonathan was just as charismatic and interesting now as he was back then. Thank you for this cool presentation.
When this came out, me and my classical Greek family watched this and we loved this. Even though every other country in soccer was against the Greeks, we still found that sense of strength that we CAN win

I was on a field trip in North Whales, and was recommended this book by the main workshop manager. The trailer already shows how important the evolution of trees have been, and what most of us on this planet just don't know much about. Definitely going to read.
