solid tutorial cant wait to tryit. once its setup with all settings will it save th config so each time i run it itll have widescreen and everything enabled?
@@TechThusiast I follow your guide closely with using Lutris to setup the files but everything starts to differ around the installation part which keeps forcing to use Data.1 bin for something. ( One thing to note is that the archive header is corrupted and idk how to fix it lol if you know please tell)
to anyone with permission denied error: open pydroid > click on the folder icon on top > choose open > give the permission it asks now if you try it again it should not appear this error, if it does, i don't know what's wrong lol, i literaly spent hours trying to know what was going on just to to some stupid shit that came up to my mind that nobody said was necessary... you're welcome anyways.
Thanks for the tutorial. I've got an issue though that you may know, the game doesn't have sounds. any idea? I have the same files from prophet as well.
Hi.. everything is working fine except the controls, i can't go past the first menu. I click everywhere, and it does nothing! Any help, please? Amazing job, thank you very much!!
Friend, when installing the dolphin emulator, the folder is not created in Data, it is created directly in the root of the phone's storage and the folder where the files should be extracted does not appear, I have Android 14, is it due to that version of Android?
I’ve got an issue I’ll have to figure out some time in the future that I’m not sure about I’m hoping in the next few months that I’ll get a steam deck, but in the meantime, I’ve been playing the game a bunch on my windows pc. I have a bunch of mods that o would imagine would very easily be transferred to the new version, but I also have a bunch of color palette presets that I’ve made and saved. When I install the steamOS version of the game to my deck when I get it, how will I transfer that data to the new version?? Edit: nvm I figured it out, I’m dumb lmfao
@@TechThusiast yea apparently the palettes file can be simply transferred from the resources folder on the pc version to the steamOS one, so I should actually be good
@@TechThusiastCan you help me by giving me the link to the Marvel vs Capcom 3 assets I don't seem to have some of its variables that's why it doesn't start up. I got mine from steamunlocked.
@@TechThusiast i need to download transformer WFC in my pc , but I don't have that game on my steam , so there is no safe or legally way to download it
LMFAO i'm so honored to see my steam grids in a Tech Thusiast Tutorial ! Also Quick note: There is a version of the Render96 Models online that supports Custom Color Palettes
the most difficult step is how we can download games?you done your best to explain how to install and fixe the app however you didn t give more information to download games and install them this is the most difficult step i don t understand anything i m done😢
I can't thank you enough, I've wanting to play this game again for ever. Everything worked, except for the 60 fps hack. Somehow, I get to launch it alongside the game and select the 60 fps, but the game is still capped at 30 fps. I checked the pathways in the .bat file and it checks out... I don't know what I could do more, can you help me ?
@@TechThusiast It seems that it is. I have "Z: \home\deck\Games\TransformersWfC\Binaries\TWFCTool.exe" and "Z: \home\deck\Games\TransformersWfC\Binaries\TFWB.exe". And I named my folder "Games" like you did.
@@TechThusiast Yes it does, and I'm able to select the frame rate option in the drop-down menu (as well as display option), but the game still won't do 60fps
When i paste in the final 5 lines this comes up; I'm no longer involved in the development or community management, but look forward to see where the community takes it. Now the community maintains their fork called sm64coopdx.
Wondering if access to read/write to Android/data folder is necessary for mod. Gonna try right now. I know i can't copy/paste into it but i can extract from there.
Turns out I did need read/write/access permissions to do this. Was able to get around Android SAF by using an app called Shizuku. In Shizuku, I needed to go into developer mode and enable "wireless debugging" and then again tap on that button to get access to the "pair with access code" option. I then pressed Start from within the Shizuku app but was notified I needed to disable "permission monitoring". The wording was confusing since on my OnePlus 9 Pro, the option is to "Disable Permission Monitoring" so I had to enable it. 😂 Edit: Shizuku notified me what I needed to do based on the type of phone I had. You may need to do something different. Afterwards I got an app called ZArchiver, gave it permissions, and afterwards clicked on the 3 dots on the top right, clicked on the settings > Root > and for the Type of Root Access I chose "Shizuku/SUI" and proceeded to toggle the three options underneath. Options being "Use for Android [data/obb]", "file operations", and "fix SELinux content". Then I was finally able to read/write/copy+paste the files into the Android/data/ folders.
All I can say is a genuine thank you. Seriously. I’ve been struggling to get this game on here as I’m not the smartest on when it comes to emulators and Lutris and such. I’ve been really really missing this game and you are able to give me my memories back essentially. I didn’t “quite” do the set up correctly so I can’t do the 60fps, but 30 is still fine for me personally. I only just got a steam deck this year and I was riding off of a switch for 7 years, so 30fps is nothing to me haha. If you ever get Transformers: Devastation on here that’d be a wonderful tutorial as well.
