thanks for this. I have downloaded the files needed and will try using your tutorial to set it up when my new android device arrives (hopefully before February)!
any help with extra setting as i got it going on my odin pro and was playing the randomizer but cant get a good 60fps, id bring it down to 40fps but and the end the ganon fight was super laggy. just wondering if i can get more performance since i thought the odin pro wouldn't have trouble with 60fps but i guessed wrong. i tried the api but i cant find the gfx line of code.
No lie fam I've got a 27 hour flight to Sydney in a month and just been thinking about how fckin long that is sat in one seat. You are my hero bruv. Spot on mate
@@TechThusiast Not quite but I'll figure it out. So far my S9 won't accept and dl Harkinian, the finding of a rom will be another small hurdle. Not beyond the realms of possibility though, just gta do some finicky stuff I guess. I take it there are no words of wisdom to be shared regarding the rom?
@@TechThusiast I got a PAL, but my size is 25mb and it's saying I need a 64mb file. I used it to download OOT on my laptop just now so it definitely works.
I can't thank you enough. Runs perfectly with mods and 60fps on my teclast m40 pro gaming tablet. Its a mediatec chipset and ran jjust fine. I have an ipega for tablet and switch controller and it also works perfectly too. I hope they can also do this with great n64 exclusives like majoras mask, wave race 64, super mario 64, mario kart, etc.
Is the port only compatible for snapdragon phones? I have a Galaxy j7 prime, I did everything according to the tutorial, but the app gets a black screen, and yes, I downloaded the correct rom of Ocarina of time.
Wondering if access to read/write to Android/data folder is necessary for mod. Gonna try right now. I know i can't copy/paste into it but i can extract from there.
Turns out I did need read/write/access permissions to do this. Was able to get around Android SAF by using an app called Shizuku. In Shizuku, I needed to go into developer mode and enable "wireless debugging" and then again tap on that button to get access to the "pair with access code" option. I then pressed Start from within the Shizuku app but was notified I needed to disable "permission monitoring". The wording was confusing since on my OnePlus 9 Pro, the option is to "Disable Permission Monitoring" so I had to enable it. 😂 Edit: Shizuku notified me what I needed to do based on the type of phone I had. You may need to do something different. Afterwards I got an app called ZArchiver, gave it permissions, and afterwards clicked on the 3 dots on the top right, clicked on the settings > Root > and for the Type of Root Access I chose "Shizuku/SUI" and proceeded to toggle the three options underneath. Options being "Use for Android [data/obb]", "file operations", and "fix SELinux content". Then I was finally able to read/write/copy+paste the files into the Android/data/ folders.
can someone help me i've done all the steps but the textures are still the defaults I'm not sure why i double checked everything 1 by 1 nothing is wrong no textures appear
@@TechThusiast My friend i did double check i actually triple checked everything is extracted in the mods folder and the game is working fine im not sure if anyone else has this problem but its not because i did something wrong trust me
i used the wrong rom and now i can’t try using a different one. i tried deleting the apk but even when i do that and redownload it still acts like i already uploaded a rom to it. how do i fix this?
@@TechThusiast I've double checked at the file and all the mods are in the mod folder, however when I open the game it's normal like there is no mods on, any idea what is wrong?
@TechThusiast my Young and Adult link. I believe the other ones are working, when items drop they look very good. Im using the Masterquest debug version (idk what the models normally look like)
@@TechThusiast i got a problem i almost finished the game and in the escape Mission after zelda capture by fire it stop the app and close i can't finishthe game because of that
@@TechThusiast People has always played OoT with n64 emulators on android with touch controls, how come playing it with this app is gonna be harder??? XD
@@TechThusiast Do you know how i can enable touchscreen controls? I looked it up and the github page says i might get something from the enhancements tab
@@TechThusiasthow could it be ''too hard''????? I've been playing emulators on android for many years and the only one that is perhaps harder is the switch emulator. This is a n64 game!
File Manager Plus (icon is a Folder with a F on it) I downloadet the Djipi's 3DS Experience mod but there is another folder in it names "Skilsr's Art Plus Link" Idk if it mess up the 3ds link models. @@TechThusiast
I know what his problem is and I don't know how to fix it myself. From android 11 and up you can't get access to the data folder and if you can't get access to it you can't add mods.@@TechThusiast
@@TechThusiast if you're using your phone you're using your own file explorer the phone has built in and it will not get permission to use those folders. Also trying z archive doesn't get permission as well.
