Good thing that wasn't nerve-wracking😂 I didn't do any cutting with my 37s I could never do that kind of tucking with mine and I know it!! You did an awesome job with that truck 👊
subscribed. love the midi tunes. I also would love to buy a Colorado/Canyon to LS swap. I have a 1982 S10 that's LS swapped and the current performance wiring harness worked but it's had issues right out of the box and still has more issues that need to be fixed.
@@readyrig4x4 the difficulty is much higher if you want to LS swap a 4x4 S10, the 4x4 S10 is really the only way you can LS swap it and even then there isn't a lot of swap parts.
@Gunnvulcan wrong. I told them the exact motor. They made the harness to that exact specification. They weren't 100% sure it was going to work bc nobody has ever done this before. It is uncharted territory. None of this is easy when you are the first to do something. Now if someone wants to drop an LS3 or similar gen IV LS into their second gen Colorado, this is the blueprint.
Love the light bar you have on your truck, wish there was something similar out there on the market! Truck sounds great and partially makes me want to do it to mine 😆
If you get the point to where you're wheeling it before you figure out the bcm, you can just run your own wires to the lockers. I ran mine for two years like that off one of those chinese solid state switch pannels. It used to piss off my abs and traction control sometimes so I wired a third switch to break the connections on one of the wheel speed sensors so it would kill all of that stuff. I only did that to mine because the computer started hateing my rear locker and wouldnt let me use either of them.
A gave a little chuckle when you first fired it up...then a tear to the eye 😢. What a beautiful sound. As I said on the Instagram post, my ZR2 just got a little smaller. 😮
@readyrig4x4 it's crazy how trashy chevy has become I've always been a chevy man but dude these new vehicles are legit garbage 🤣 they look amazing and perform great for half their expected life but they ain't the old chevy
Hats off to you bro! Be careful out there going solo 🫡 Your truck is badass. Unfortunate about that driveline though 😬 Hell older 70’s 80’s and 90’s off-road rigs used to run trails all day on 33’s. Nice driving
@iwasthere83 all of the lights 🤣🤣🚨🚨🚨 The stand alone Holley Terminator X is the ECU so there is no OEM computer in the truck anymore. The dash lights up but nothing actually works on it. Haha.
I’m a child of the 80s/90s and I think everything should have neon green wheels! I love it. Gonna look rad!! Tune sounds like Tool made a soundtrack for a Nintendo game. Dig that too! Way cool that Wes opened up his shop and showed you the ropes. And, in regards to the beadlock, I vote for neon orange...like a gecko!!!! After I saw the black though that was probably the right call. Looks incredible!
Cool video. Thanks for sharing. How's the truck ride, now? Any noticeable difference? Do the shackles have any other benefit other than lifting? Thanks again. Keep on keepin on
