I was drooling over all the beautiful fabrics! I would especially enjoy seeing the shop with all the trims. I know about Liberty fabrics from watching videos by some ladies in the UK and Australia.

Hi, I love the perfect tailored waist look of for example the black dress you showed, however I love to eat and since I’m pretty petite maybe even more so than you, my stomach just bulges when I indulge in yummy yums! lol! I have started wearing more skirts for this reason that when they’re high waisted I can pull them higher when I’m sitting down LOL. I know it’s a funny problem. what is the best way to sew dresses and skirts that are adjustable a little bit to be able to loosen them just a lil bit. I tried elastic and it still pushes on my stomach sometimes.

Lol, I often have the same thoughts! My tummy bulges when I eat too and the Helen's Closet Donovan skirt is just perfect for staying comfortable while sitting!

Thank you so much and I'm glad you appreciate the full-length views! They're quite hard to film in my little space, but I find it so helpful to see because it's easier to get a sense of the final silhouette and proportions of a garment or outfit and I wanted to offer the same here!

Wonderful makes. I'm afraid there's a reason why most swimsuits have two straps ;). But it's a pitty it doesn't stay up, because it looks wonderful! Thanks for sharing your makes.

Huge fabric markets in Mumbai city in the state of Maharashtra. A big fabric industry is also at Surat city in the state of Gujarat. Each Indian state has a specialized weave, like the "Ikkat weave" of the state of Orrisa. I like your work, the simple yet elegant dresses and skirts. I would like to send you a good fabric.

Just wear a body hugging cami or body shirt for modesty under the two knitted tank tops. You have a lot of good ideas with some nice fabric.

Hi Sarah, great work! I am 54 and have been sewing for as long as I remember, and I think you are doing great. For the bathing suit, you can just make a strap for the other shoulder, either a thin one or a gathered chunky one, it will look very interesting and solve your problem.

I love all of the clothes you made, especially the blue dress. The fit is fantastic! I would suggest shortening the neckband on the v-neck top so it doesn't stick up.

Came back to this video just now, as I brought a lovely double gauze muslin. It’s white with sage green foliage and soft yellow-y golden flowers. And I knew you’d give great inspiration for what to do with it. The first top will be my pick for my new fabric!

Hi Sarah, you mentioned you were knitting a pink top that started to look like a dirty mop. I'm currently having the same issue and I'm trying to figure out why certain knitted pieces look "dirty and grey" while I'm knitting them. I wash my hand thoroughly before I pick up any knitting/sewing project, so they can't possibly be dirty. I think it's the way the light reflect and creates shadows from the texture of the knitting that causes this dirty look. Either way, I find this discouraging because I can never guess whether a yarn will produce this "dirty" look once knitted up. I've never heard anyone else describe this phenomenon and I was relieved when I heard you mention it.

Thank you for a balanced excursion. The architecture and celebrated buildings in Paris astonish me no matter how many times I see them. And the shopping fulfills my thrill of fabric shopping, but doesn't cost me a penny. (Nor does it add to my already sizable stockpile)

Ose patterns are just gorgeous, like many French pattern companies, but they are all cut for slim ladies with not much bust or hips, I would love to find a French company that worked for more hourglass shapes..if anyone knows of any...
