Best explanation ever! Thank you, Marc! I think it will be also great to demonstrate - in a 100% safe manner, of course - typical beginner mistakes and the effects they induce in the wing, like inducing a frontal, symmetrical or asymmetrical, pulling on the wrong brakes inducing a wrong roll. Or tips on how to untangle the lines. Great channel! 👍💪👍Keep these awesome videos coming!🙏

Hi ! Candid question. Aside of being fun and challenging, what is the purpose of wing overs ? Can it be considered as a quick descent manœuver ?
@leavesleyaviation
@leavesleyaviation День назад
Good question Yoann, Well you loose height doing wing overs so I guess the answer is yes, I personally do them for the fun and G-Force, doing good wing overs both sides is an art and fantastic to get them perfect.

I've been watching your video since January. I got my glider three weeks ago and have been waitin go out in the right conditions. Today is the day. I have a 7 mile an hour straight on shore off the ocean. I'm going to practice my groundwork today, tomorrow and the next day, I have your videos memorized. Thanks for the great instructions.

Hi Marc, Great video like always. Writing out of Vancouver Canada. Had my first paragliding lesson last weekend and will continue this weekend. I have a question regarding wing selection. I want to do both Paragliding and eventually also transition to Paramotoring. I am looking at a Apco F5. Will it be possible for me to use this wing for both ? I am a male, 62 years old and 82kg.

Nice, very good you strongly mentioned etiquette, sometimes on smaller hill, where there is litttle bit crowdy, it is big problem, everybody want to be established and some people have problem with correctly joining others in thermal. About this finger wrap, isnt't it hurting on the finger? I do hand wrap when circling in very weak thermal in flats, so it is not so tiriring, but doing it over one finger seems to me like too much pressure n the finger.

I flew with one of the test pilots from advance in Switzerland and he completely disagreed. Said I was wasting time, the roads are designed to bend and spring back. I'm still unsure but I sometimes do it his way if I'm getting the wing wing out within an hr!!

Hi, Thank you for the instruction. I don't harmonica my gliders myself. i just make sure all cells are upon eachother and strap them down. Then i roll the sides in like a sausage. this way i don' t get sharp folds.
@leavesleyaviation

I think that would be just as good, as long as cells are happy.

Hello Marc. What a beautiful place to fly. I'm Frank from Kilkenny in Ireland. Our weather for flying the past few years is so bad. I have 15 years flying but would like to do a guided xc of 50 km or more. Perhaps 100 km. I have a rush 6 which is amazing to thermal on. I am still learning after all these years and would love a guided xc so I can relax and enjoy it, instead of being stressed out in mental rough thermals. Your video and instruction was brilliant. So calm and relaxed. Well done you. Best of luck to all your students. Where do you mainly guide from. Thanks Frank
