You failed to evaluate the context in the creation and installation of this statue. This monument wasn't installed right after the Civil War. No, it was erected in 1915. This was a time of brutal terrorism against African-Americans. The Ku Klux Klan was active. That is why the statue was erected: to demonstrate the power of Whites over Blacks. My interpretation of why they removed Confederate monuments in recent years is that whereas the Confederacy defined itself as being based on subjugation of African-Americans in slavery in perpetuity, and in these times, we see that as wrong. So we shouldn't have public monuments to the defenders of White Supremacy.

Outside of Christ there is no powe or purpose r of predestination, Become a Christian, you are predestined to become sons and daughters of the living God. In Christ we are predestined to be conformed to His image. Outside of a life in Christ, there is no God ordered predestination.
