In its simplest terms, a jockey box is a portable draft beer station that allows you to pour any kegged beverage anywhere. Done are the days of renting a cheap, plastic keg tap from your local liquor store that spoil your beer by pumping oxygen into it (Did you know beer hates oxygen?)
Coldbreak® raises the bar for portable draft systems. With an established track record of 2,000+ brewery customers worldwide, #ColdbreakJockeyBoxes are also perfect for caterers, mobile bars, and the weekend warrior who care about efficiency, taproom-quality, and presentation. Jockey boxes are designed for bringing people together, enhancing special occasions, and creating memorable moments, and deliver a perfect pour and peace of mind, every single time.
You can. It would carbonate after a short period of time, depending on how cold your keg is. We prefer to use Nitrogen to push coffee through our systems.
We have a 4 tap roto jumper box and are having terrible foam issue. Our lines leaving the box are very short. We have tried 25-35 psi and it still pours foam, we bought a quad regulator and we are still getting foam. Please help lol
Thank you on multiple levels! We are doing Reno on horse trailer ONLY because we came across a trailer we couldn’t pass up , our jockey box is actually getting delivered today! So I actually learned a lot from listening!
If they are cold, they don't have to be. But we recommend icing the kegs if your event is long. It will help keep the ice melt inside the jockey box to a minimum.
Hi, is it necessary to have the beer cooled before? I mean, can it be at room temperature? if so, then how you deal with beer's decarbonation because the high temperature?
You always want to start with cold/cool beer. You wouldn't want to let the beer get warm. Jockey boxes are used to pour the beer properly and to get the beer back down to serving temperature in case there is any temperature increase.
