Domio have a very big reputation for taking orders and not supplying the products. A simple google search will show heaps of this. I personally got stung by them too. I'm glad you got what you paid for but they are not a company worth promoting.

For those commenting that you put them on backwards, I think JES should make this a lot clearer. I installed them on one of my Indians and I'm about to purchase them again. I'm still not sure I have them installed right on my first bike. I'm going to go double-check after seeing this.

Does anyone know why the mic does not work? I can hear music but a phone call cannot be responded to - I've tried to reset by holding a paper clip to each of the holes on the side of the mic. The mic is flashes blue/white ... what is wrong?
@themillionairebiker9381
@themillionairebiker9381 Год назад
Hello Ricki. Thank you for watching 🙂. I just tested my mic again and it also appears to be flashing blue/white. I believe that it is their blue/blue light meaning your mic is connected. There should be a sticker on the mic stating status or setting of the mic. Blue/blue connected, red/red disconnected, white full face helmet setting, and white/white open face helmet setting for the mic. You may use a key to press the button next to the power button to cycle through those options. The test call I just made by holding up the mic to my mouth wasn't very clear for the person I called. The speaker worked well in my Indian brand helmet, but not as well on my Shoei GT Air 2. I'm assuming b/c my Shoei is a much nicer helmet with better/more protective layers. I hope that helps you. HARLEY RIDERS PAST & NOW!! I've got a brand new Harley And a tank full of gas. A beautiful woman behind me And we're not driving fast. We're pulling a trailer With a tent packed inside. For camping beneath the stars Just me and my bride. Come morning we’ll go fishing Below the damn of Table Rock Where the big trout all hide From those anglers who talk. We’ll bait our hooks with salmon eggs And catch a pan or two. Strike a fire and cook a meal And fear not the morrow’s new We left our cars at home Cause we chose to go two wheeling. As we cling to our best on wheels It gives us a special feeling! By Tom Zart Most Published Poet On The Web 1,650 Poems

so I am curious about the experience with these guys... was looking at a bike and sufficed to say, wasn't a pleasant experience personally. A) they listed out a $1500+ destination fee (for that particular bike it is a fact that it's actually $700; confirmed by two other Indian dealers) and they also advertised one price on their site- even got an 'automatic quote' from their website but 1) they changed it online while we were negotiating and 2) the bill of sale preview was almost $2k higher, before tax/title/tag/etc... SO. seemed like they were pulling the classic bad sales manager tricks (anyone who's been around the block knows it's not uncommon in the car/bike world, but the level of dishonestly also varies from dealer to dealer...). Any thoughts on that/experience would be helpful. Not here to bash, just trying to gauge their level of shadiness, at least in your experience. Enjoy the bike 👍

Thanks for watching. Sounds like something funny was going on from what you stated. If you choose to purchase from them again, I would have them send you a buyer's order for what you would like to buy. A legally binding document that itemizes all of the costs associated with purchasing. Sales tax may be the only additional cost. Just be sure to not agree to any extras once you get there unless you want them. I purchased my current bike that way and it went much smoother and faster at the dealer. You may also purchase cars/trucks that way as well. I hope that helps you in the future my friend. Ride Often and Ride Safe ✌️

Question about the deflectors do they help keep wind from coming up from the sides of the gas tank?
@jackallen2618
@jackallen2618 Год назад
A late answer - yes they do. I just put a set of these on my Springfield standard, which has a 16 inch Freedom wind shield. The blast of air coming up the sides of the tank is pretty much gone. The helmet buffeting is not gone, but has been cut way, way down. They dump a huge amount of air on the engine which does run cooler as long as you are moving. I'm very happy with my deflectors, best purchase I've made for the bike.

Awesome bike, I had the same bike in Sagebrush Smoke. Mine never sounded as good as yours. I Called my bike the Green Manalishi. Judas Priest song. Brother, you need to change the front headlight. The soft yellow halogen isn't just invisible to cagers, it literally lulls them to sleep. Something about the yellow frequency of that light. Get an LED, whatever the cost. It will literally save your life. Good luck.
