This is just a place I setup so I could share RC Videos with friends and family. There's no spectacular 3D flying here or great videography and with any luck not a lot of crash videos either. Still I hope some people at least get some entertainment out of it.
Wish you would have given feedback about how it flew. Maybe talk what propeller you used, how was the power with the 95V. I have one of these NIB and a 95V. But I also have a Saito 91 that’s nearly as powerful, but is 3-4 Oz lighter. Maybe that makes the difference.
know this is old as heck, plane probably dont exist anymore- but with deadsticks in the air only, even after richening a few clicks to compensate for prop unloading at speed, verify the fuel tank is not foaming up- if vibration is foaming at all on the ground , it will be worse in the air...ignition timing, prop/spinner balance, motor bearings, a loose mounting bolt/standoff/muffler... son had a profile plane that eventually committed suicide by repeated deadsticks - just was not enough mass in the thin fuselage to prevent flex/fuel foaming every high speed run decel, or part throttle cruise it foamed bad...
Mount the fuel tank above the wing tube...check out Jase Dussia's build ...they route the fuel line with a flat loop on top of the tank (won't let me copy/paste here) but if you provide email I'll send it to you - mwarren400@yahoo.com). Do you still have this plane?
I bought mine as a bit of an open box special at the 2007 DOGS show in Dayton. They had opened it and given the original gear and some of the wing hinges to someone probably because it was junk and broken. In the box they had replaced it with Graphtech Gear for it which was much better. The gear on it here however was the replacement aluminum gear option H9 used to offer as an aftermarket purchase. I prefer it to the CF gear.
ok i just put the pte72 twin in mine cant wait to fly her i have a h9 sukoi with a da85 and this engine has almost the same hoarse power email me and i will email you back some of the vid michaelgrossman666@yahoo.com

High, I'm Alex. I run the website for the Campobello Flyers Club/Airfield. Would you mind if I linked some of your videos to our website? You can check it out here awest623.wixsite.com/campobello-flyers
I have one of those old Hangar 9 27% Extra 260.....hanging on the wall with a DA50R in it .....I think it should be my winter project to get it back in the air next spring
Sue, calm down. Joe, good catch on that 2nd landing. i dont have any idea about the problems but can tell there is something happening. is this one just louder? it sounds and looks stronger. i was cutting the trees in front of the shed today. i didnt even think about flight.
+Davidautofull This is a 50CC engine. It's more than 3x the size of anything else I have. Power is something this plane isn't lacking... at least not while the engine is running. :)
+Davidautofull It's actually just a phone. Nothing fancy here. It's actually a phone with my wife taking the video in the sun where she can barely see the screen. All in all I think she did pretty good given the equipment and the fact that she is neither a photographer or a flyer. But yeah.. just a phone
+Davidautofull With any luck I am hoping to have at least one of them in the air in the next couple weekends. It was turning that Xoar 22x10 at 6850RPM which I think is pretty good. I don't think it was at full throttle when I did the little video clip though. Also I do subscribe to you already LOL
